Chez Gilles is a small hotel/restaurant that is well located near the centre of La Chaux-de-Fonds. It is a decent 10-15 minute walk from the railway station. The highlight is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - even though my french is almost non existent. Arriving at 9pm, they immediately offered a meal from a kitchen that was probably...

From the outside, the hotel looks modest, but from the inside, you will notice that it is completely renovated. It is located in the old city of La Chaux-de-Fonds, and has very individual rooms, ours (upgraded room) had almost W-style appearance and we liked it very much. Also the restaurant is very good and, if as meatlover you have not...
