We arrived at the hotel to find we had been upgraded to a superior suite. What can I say. The suite was unbelievably good, views and balconies on three sides. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Half the family were in a standard room, which was also excellent. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

The location is excellent in front of the sea but 20 minutes from the city Breskens The seafront is not the nicest place . The reception is friendly but there is nobody during the day and night. Hotel is in style of the fifties and could use a make-over. bed was unconfortable it is a three hotel with the price of a four star hotel.Breakfast was below average-No elevators and difficult access to the rooms.No parking for the car. No help for the luggage-No lobby- no newspapers-television is old -

We stayed in a junior suite on the first floor. The rooms (2 bedrooms) were basic but clean. The suite has also a small kitchen. Terras on both sites with great view over the river. A pitty cars were allowed to park between the hotel and the river, which took away some of the view. Nice breakfast.

We really liked the location, the breakfast and the staff. But the room is quite old and smelly. The apartment we got was very big, but we wouldn't mind to have smaller but a cleaner and fresher room. The breakfast was a 4 stars, but the building and apartment were quite old for a 4 star hotel. The wifi was very good.

You may say that the decoration and the whole hotel is vintage. That is a nice description. The hotel is simply old and needs some refreshment. But !!!!! We have been there with our 3 dogs. It was the only hotel accepting 3 dogs: respect. The hotel is situated on the beach and gives possibilities to make nice walks with the dogs. The room was big, with a second bedroom and a kitchen and a nice view, but overall it was very calm and we were glad to relax after a hectic day on the belgian coast. The breakfast (served in the room) is really nice with plenty of food and the staff is friendly. Thew wifi is not very stable and rather slow, but better than no wifi at all. We might return.
