I have stayed at Mulley's Cottage many times but was excited to stay in Foxgloves this time. A new addition to Madeleine's rooms on offer. The accommodation, in a cartshed, is a light and airy first floor bedroom/sitting room with ground floor shower room and kitchen situated in the garden of the cottage. I loved my stay here. The light in the upstairs room is wonderful, coming in through Velux windows and an attractive window on the end wall. This can be opened up and you can sit at the table and have your breakfast, or any meal, looking out over the trees and roof tops. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. The sitting room area has a large bed settee and smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped and will be lovely to have at other times of the year when a hot meal might be needed when returning from a day out. The shower is a great size, works well and the towels are thick and fluffy. There is a sheltered space to sit out and look over the garden with a cuppa or a glass of something too. Madeleine has yet again applied her special touch to provide her guests with a fabulous place to stay. The thoughtful touches, the colours, and the quality of fittings and furnishings make it a real treat to stay here. I love the independence of being able to cook a simple meal or reheat something should I want to. And, should you not want to forgo one of Madeleine's cooked breakfasts you can still request one!

Beautiful country cottage, amazing host lovely breakfast cooked to perfection. Plenty of choice. The area is great for walking. It is situated walking distance to RSPB Minismere, we continue our walk across the common to the coast. We enjoyed our stay, it was a cozy clean annexe more suited for organised people. I myself thought rather pricey but we were in Suffolk and as I mentioned the breakfast was lush
