This is a safe, well located, comfortable enough location to stay.

The hotel markets itself as luxury accommodation. It is not.

It is clean, functional and practical with good climate control but it is not more than a 3 star property.

My family and I took up two rooms during our stay which was during the summer of the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are some nice perks like complimentary access to kayaks and paddleboat.

I was surprised to see this hotel is classified on Trip Advisor as a "B & B". In pandemic times there was no breakfast. The hotel's parent corporation owns the breakfast focused restaurant across the street which has decreased its hours. They could accommodate hotel guests but choose not to. I don't believe breakfast was marketed to us but we were certainly not left with the impression that there was any sort of discount.

The hotel's exterior was nice, the climate control was good, the rooms were nicely decorated with good storage options for their space.

The toilets in both rooms were poor with clogs being frequent and cheapo single ply toilet paper only on offer. A refurb is needed. Showers had good pressure but, in at least one room, were too small.

There was a theme through the stay that the hotel is choosing the cheaper approach to try and save costs. There was no shampoo or conditioner other than a universal soap dispenser which doubles for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. We bought our own.

Towels were worn. So were the beds which need replacement. They were adequate but inferior to most other hotels I've stayed in during the last decade.

The hotel seemed focused on maintaining its public exterior but there is significant investment needed in its interior. Without additional investment inside then guests should only stay if the price is right.

There are cheaper "pluses" the hotel could pursue to at least improve the guest experience. Shampoo and conditioner come to mind. Also, beach towels provided in suite (instead of on demand) would be an improvement.

The draw bridge in Port Stanley is out of commission until mid 2021. This is not the fault of the hotel but is worth noting because major staples of the city are no longer walking distance (main beach, GTs, etc.).

As it relates to battling COVID-19, the hotel appeared fully compliant with all government laws and most recommendations. No housekeeping was offered in the circumstances (not a complaint). The hotel could increase the frequency of sanitizing the outdoor patio furniture which is available to all guests. While this was observed to be happening it did not compare to nearby restaurants and other nearby public spaces.

In the future, we may or may not return to stay here as there are other good options in Port Stanley.

Stayed for 3 nights, check in easy, staff wore masks, very informative,
room was nice, air conditioning cold, bed very comfortable, only complaints were air conditioner made a scrapping noise, and wifi didn't work on building we were in.
Jackie was very helpful in correcting billing error, as
previous stays included breakfast, this time did not and prices lowered accordingly.
Had breakfast across road at sister hotel one morning Telgraph House, very good.
Would definitely go back next year.

The New Years Eve package with dinner at the Telegraph House was awesome and we really enjoyed our stay. the room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The people who work here are friendly and accommodating and were anxious to make sure we had what we needed. This is a great location to be able to walk around the town and enjoy the atmosphere.

Stayed one night for the first time. Room initially appeared modern and nicely appointed. Owners have added lots of modern amenities but the room feels crowded as a result. Poor value. Would not stay again.

Pros: Nice view, modern, clean, centrally located, good walking.

Cons: Very awkward layout, tv behind the bed, jacuzzi in room dominates, small and tight toilet that plugged, amenities aren't what they appear (e.g. no shampoo, lots of lotion), bed had pressure points, door was sticking.

Overall, an okay place to sleep. This seems like a refurbished old structure and warnings include using too many plug-ins will blow the breakers. Stairs were VERY noisy. Toilet flush needed to be held down until bowl cleared.

This isn't meant to be a hit-and-run review because to be fair, we didn't mention any of this to the front desk. First, there was no one onsite after 7 pm, and second, we left shortly after getting up the next morning.

The views from the Leopard room are great but the views inside the room itself are off-putting to say the least. This room is in bad need of an overhaul. The decor is tacky and in poor condition. The leather chairs are badly peeled and the walls need a paint job. There was no cold water in the tap so we scalded ourselves a few times. No ice machine and no cold water during a heat warning is not good. Other than that, if aesthetics don’t bother you, it is decent. This room could be beautiful with a bit of work.

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the inn. The greeting was great and Jackie was very friendly and ensured we enjoyed our stay. We loved having the patio doors onto the deck to enjoy the boats and have a drink. There was an issue the one evening with one of the rooms being loud but that is no fault of the inn and they did apologize. We will be back again!

Drab room with stains on the carpet up thirty six stairs. It had a decent view but it totally wasn't worth the money they are charging. If you cant find a room anywhere else your best bet is to request one of the rooms on the first floor that have a deck

Returned to this Inn after many years. It is very tired and needs a major redo. TV didn’t work, ceiling fan was broken, chipped bathroom sink, rusty vents etc but the worst part is that no one is on the desk in the evenings to address guest concerns and issues. We misplaced our room keys and no one came for two hours. We had a 20 month baby with us who was extremely tired and needed her bottle. Owner was very aloof when we called the emergency number. Fortunately we didn’t have a medical emergency. Not hospitable at all.

I had the Singapore Suite in the Little Inn. Very nice room. Large well appointed. Only small complaint is the lack of shelving in the bathroom to place your personal items on. Manager was lovely to deal with and the fresh hot muffins in addition to other light breakfast items were on point. Would highly recommend this hotel, particularly if you want a water view but don't care about not being on the beach.

During the Mothers Day weekend we stayed in a very charming inn located beside the inner harbour leading to Port Stanley’s famous beach.

Of the 3 accommodations located in the main street of Port Stanley, this is the only one with rooms fronting the harbour. The room we stayed in reminded me of the cottage rooms in Hallmark movies .

It is really a small inn that the reception area only has a small bar and some chairs. They don't even serve breakfast or coffee to guests but that's alright. The views from our room more than made up for the lack of breakfast.

They did not offer a dinner menu but did offer a continental breakfast and coffee on a very nice patio. Many food choices in Port Stanley, and St. Thomas is just fifteen minutes away if you need an expanded variety
