Beautiful setting and lovely gardens and swimming pool. We were helped with ideas of things to do locally and had a very comfortable night in a spotlessly clean cottage. We left our swimming things behind, and the owner offered to post them on to us - could you get better service anywhere? Would recommend to couples and families - plenty...

This is a lovely place to stay in Coromandel very central to the restaurants and attractions. We stayed in the one bedroom cottage which has everything you need. The hosts are very knowledgeable on the area and the local restaurants. There are laundry and BBQ facilities available. We didn't have the best weather but it was a lovely place for...

Our friend Lynn booked this place for us. The facilities were great. Everything that you needed including free Wi-Fi. You had to pay for the use of the washing machine but it was only $3 and many people left their washing powder behind so you don't have to buy your own. The owners, Jan and Steve were very friendly and...

The grounds and motel units are spotless, well appointed and inviting. We had excellent service from the manager - She was knowledgeable and ready to help with...

These cottages are roomy and very clean, the hosts have great tips on the area and the bonus is a lovely salt water pool. These are in a quiet location with good barbecue facilities, I can highly recommend this motel and look forward to returning one day

Very well located in a quiet location about 8 minutes walk from shopping centre. Very handy to the Driving Creek Railway. Jan provided us with all the information one could wish for. The cottages had towels changed each day and the floor was also mopped while we were out. Would stay here again if in Coromandel Town.

We were two elder couples travelling together and the units here were small cottages with two bedrooms off a hallway from the front door and a large lounge/kitchen area. Perfect for us. The site also has an outdoor pool of which full use was made. Coromandel Town centre is walkable but we deemed it just far enough in the evening...

Photos on the website are exactly as the cottages are. Jan & Steve were really helpful, giving us great tips for days out. Our cottage was comfortable, well appointed and well cared for. Our grandchildren visited us one day and had a fun time in the pool. The 20 min walk into the town centre was most enjoyable.

“For a couple, room number 8 is the best as it at the end and separate to the other cottages; almost no car noise from other guests and the furtherest from the road (not that there was much road noise at all i.e. extremely quiet at night). It's closest to the pool (not right beside it-there's a large grassed area in-between) and laundry; it's the furtherest away from reception. The behaviour of the other guests would determine if being closest to the pool is good or not. In our experience it was great as we were able to monitor when we could have it to ourselves which was often :) Our mattress was soft and comfortable, but if you would prefer something firmer and/or prefer that you're not overly conscious of your partner moving during the night you might want to test it first; likewise re: the pillows. Number 8 doesn't have a full stove; just two elements and microwave not that we wanted to cook up a storm; we were on holiday after all and ate out at several local restaurants which overall were great, especially 'The Mussel Kitchen'! We would definitely go back to this motel and to Coromandel! Thanks Jan & Steve for such a fantastic experience!”
