The facilities are fairly average but good value as the price per night is low compared to other sites we stayed at. Kitchen and BBQ are next to a dining area. The owners are really nice and helpful; the views across the bay are lovely. Most of this site is given over to permanent residents but there is still some...

This campsite is full of permanent residents and visiting fishermen. The facilities are basic. The sites for touring campervans are poor. This place is mainly used by fishermen who clean their fish on the park, so it smells badly of fish.

The most beautiful scenic spot on the Coromandel. facilities are clean & Tidy and very affordable. We were able to park our motor home right on the sea front but still be only a short walk from all facilities. Each night we were gobsmacked by the beautiful sun sets. The fishing is pretty good too & the use of the...

We had a group of friends hire cabins and tent sites for a long weekend recently. The holiday park is great, very family orientated and appears to have a lot of return visitors. The beach is great as you can swim at high or low tide and it's awesome for kayaking too. The fishing around here is amazing and we...

Known as a fishing camp, Papa Aroha Holiday Park is also a fantastic location for families. While the camp playground is small and a bit worn, the onsite river is a lovely feature of the camp where there are two rope swings for kids to play on and a platform for swimming. Low or high tide, the river is the...

Go kayak fishing, use the two boat ramps they have on offer or get a water taxi over to a number of great landbased fishing islands plus having great accom & great staff. I have stayed here loads of times & will continue to do so.

Spent the evening in one of the cabins, room was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you need-minus bed linens. Location has several amenities and the hosts were gracious and very helpful during our visit. They have clean and hot showers-Only 50 cents for about four minutes Boat launch was easy to navigate, with a tractor available during low...
