Clean and stylish apartment, and nice kitchenette. However, a few slices of toast, eight eggs, butter and one sort of marmalade in the fridge don't make it a BnB. Maybe the owner is not interested in the object anymore, which is obviously for sale.

What a great place for a quiet romantic getaway! We stayed in the lower studio and it was brilliant! It is nicely secluded and private with a nice outdoor area including an outdoor bath. Our only mistake was that 2 nights wasn't long enough, we would love to have stayed longer. I highly recommend this place and we cant wait...

Indigo is a beautiful place to stay. Perfect for couples or individuals wanting to get away from it all. It is out of town, in the bush, which makes you feel miles away from everything, and the outdoor bath is divine! A wonderful place to relax and unwind.

We had a wonderful night staying at Indigo Bush. The setting is very tranquil and peaceful. The room was very comfortable and we particularly liked the open, pebble-floored bathroom and the outdoor tub. Having no TV was also a welcomed change as we were purposefully unplugging ourselves from the outside and online worlds (though good WiFi is available). We noticed...

All I can say is wow! Indigo Bush Studios is so different from anywhere my partner and I have stayed before and that is a wonderful thing! Despite being only minutes from Coromandel Town, our studio felt isolated from the rest of the world in the best kind of way. The outdoor bath was a beautiful and luxurious touch and...

Robyn, thank you for a beautiful experience. My partner has been a regular and kept telling me how beautiful your studios were. He was right. The outside bath tub and indoor fire place make this a truly romantic getaway. Highly recommended.

For our first visit to New Zealand and to celebrate my wife's birthday, I was looking for interesting places to stay while we explored the area. Indigo Bush Studios consists of two studio apartments decorated by Robyn who is an artist. The place was immaculate and is definitely in the "bush." We were treated to a soothing rainstorm hitting the...

very impressive for this stay, we only stayed for 1 night which we thought it is not enough for this lovely place Very romantic and stylish. Love the interior design, love the lighting and beautiful view just in front of the bed when you wake up in the morning. There is DVD player and an audio output. Robyn has many...

Best accommodation in NZ to date. Set in natural and private forest just outside town (but walkable) I loved the outdoor hot bath, complete with candles, the fireplace set up and ready to light and interesting, arty and quality fittings throughout. Real tea and coffee (no bags here) a functional kitchen (but the restaurants in town are great). A very...

“Top studio bigger with separate area for sleeping, bottom studio appears more private.”

“The upper studio is not as private as the lower one which may be a problem if you want to use the outdoor bath. However you do get great airflow thru the upper studio. The room now has wifi, not there is no TV - not that that worried us. There are some DVD's to watch. If cooking, the kitchen has 2 gas elements but no oven or microwave.”

“The lower studio is more secluded which we preferred but the upper studio is more accessible and more storage space.”

“The "upper" Queen room is slightly larger and marginally easier to get to from the carpark; but there are only two rooms and they're basically the same.”
