Oikein viehättävä mökki maalaistalon läheisyydessä. Mökkejä useampi, itse olimme Töpö mökissä. Mökissä kaikki tarpeellinen, keittiö, astianpesukoneineen. Pyykinpesukone löytyy myös vaikka emme itse sitäkään tarvinnut. Lattialämmitys. Sauna. Takka makuuhuoneessa. Iso hyvä parisänky. Kaiken kaikkiaan todella hyvä mökki. Lyhyt matka Kolin nähtävyyksiin joten sijainti loistava.

Haimme parin yön majoitusta Kolin seudulta kesällä 2019, olimme suunnitelleet tutustumista vanhemman kotiseutuun sitten lapsuuden.

We spent two nights in the farmyard in July. The cottage was neat, spacious and quiet. Kitchenette, large bathroom and sauna. The location is slightly off the side of Koli's services and peak, but about 15 minutes away by car.

The hostess of the house is very friendly and offers an excellent and rich Karelian breakfast. There is a barbeque in the yard. In the farmyard there are cattle and cats. Our dog was welcomed.

The beach is quite far from the yard. They also have beach cabins for rent.

We had a great time and the place is a good alternative to expensive hotels.

Excellent breakfast. Great place for dog wandering without a leach. Friendly hostess.
Great atmosphere even thought very hot weather at the moment. Prizing in correct level - we were at room with least amenities.

Me and my mom stayed at this place for one night in June and had an unpleasant experience. First of all - the price is ridiculous for what you get. We paid 68$ for the room and an additional 11$ each for linen and towels. We knew that the would charge extra for linen (which was basically old, warn linen from the owner's house or something) but we expected a great room in such a price and instead got this small wooden room with no windows and a very dim light. The room and beds also smelled funny and weren't clean. There was a small dresser as well as a mini fridge and microwave, however there were only 2 outlets in the whole room and the microwave doesn't even reach the outlet. There was no sink or utensils and not even a basket to dispose of trash so we couldn't really prepare any food. It's also far away from convenient stores or restaurants so we were stuck with no food. There is a shared gazebo outside where you can grill (but no place to buy food in the evening, everything closed early!)
The booking website specified that there is free WiFi but there wasn't. This might be a mistake made by the booking website...just wanted to warn people not to expect internet.
There is one shared toilet and shower that have the same door, meaning that if someone is taking a shower, no one can use the toilet which is ridiculous in my opinion! There was also no toilet paper in bathroom when we got there and it took the owner a while to put a roll in there. Of course there were also no wastebaskets in the shower or toilet. The bathroom and shower were clean.
It was a cold night and the heating stopped working at some point for no apparent reason.
The woman who runs the place wasn't very pleasant and we didn't feel comfortable to address her with any issues we had (especially since they live on the property and we felt uncomfortable going up to the house, she also didn't say once that we can come up to the house if anything is wrong).
I understood that the cottages offered in the property have a full kitchen and private bathroom/shower so they might be nicer, but I would not recommend anyone to book a regular room in this place! Absolutely not worth the money!

We stayed in this place for 3 nights.

Well equipped kitchen but the owner seems did not tidy it and keep it clean,
The house is a bit dark, esp the sauna room. There is no bathroom, you have to take your shower in the dark and full of mosquito sauna room.

The bedroom is a bit small and nowhere place the luggage. The toilet has a washing machine, but a bot pack and messy.

The kitchen cabinet and drawers are full of all sort of things that we have no idea why they are there, they don't seem to be useful. (see photos attached)

Oh yes, there is a nice forest and pond behind the cottage, guess is also due to that reason, we have killed more than 2,000 mosquito in that 3 nights. We start to kill the mosquitoes with hands, at the end we were forced to use vacuum machine.

The owner is friendly and the price of EUR45 per night is considered cheap.

We are nature lovers and photographers, the location of this cottage is a perfect starting point to explore the Koli region and National Nature Reserve, hiking, photo hunting etc. 5/5 The cottage itself looks good, view over the hill, fields and forest in the back yard. The owners are friendly and speaking reasonable English. 4/5 The house has fully equiped kitchen including good working oven and 4 burners e-stove. 4/5 The living has a dinner table, coach, tv and cabinets. The sleeping room contains a double bed guaranteeing a good night sleep. 4/5 The bathroom is typical for the region, not much light, having sauna, the floor is quite slippery when wet, but the shower works good.3/5. In the toilet room is a good working laundry machine and sink. 4/5 In the period that we were there a mosquito plague distroyed the comfort feeling day and night, in 3 days we killed more than 2000 mosquitos! The owner told us it was an exceptional mosquito year 1/5 The floor of the cottage and kitchen could be clleaner. The price performance balance is very good, we paid 43 euro per night. In Koli is a supermarket delivering all your needs. 5/5 For transport you need a car. It is not an HOTEL, here are some cottages.
