My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights in July 2016 en route on a longer roadtrip through France, and wished we had been able to stay longer; Mark and Katia were wonderfully welcoming hosts and also assisted us with choosing the room that we would be most comfortable in (the top blue room, with stunning views across the fields). We...

We've stayed here several times and never been disappointed. The location for travelling to the south west or returning to Calais is perfect. The rooms are well equipped and the setting is very relaxing. Katia and Mark are terrific hosts and lay on a superb table. We always try and pop in to the nearby Domaine Cocteaux to sample and...

We reserved a couple of nights with hosts Katia and Mark and were warmly welcomed into their home. The B&B is very well situated if you are thinking of visiting the various chateaus in the area and Katia is an excellent tourist information guide. Her breakfasts are very tasty and the delicious warm croissants easily washed down with steaming coffee...

As we take different routes when travelling through France we do not stay in Le Clos du Golf every year and I think this was our eighth visit. However, we introduced two friends to it in 2012 when we last stayed there and they were very keen to join us when we decided to visit again this year. None of...

We stayed just for one night on our return trip home from a 3 week drive around France and Italy and this was our last night before Eurostar. Katya and Mark are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We had a lovely large room with a very comfortable bed. Dinner was excellent and the wine flowed! We were...

We stayed four nights with hosts Katia and Mark and found the accommodation and service first class. Our room was large and beautifully furnished and we were spoiled with daily service of the room and our modern ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, especially Mark's famous croissants. The B&B is adjacent to a lovely golf course for those who have the...

We stayed at the little house on the golf court for one week. You have to be warned that there is no kitchen, but it supplies a mircowave, plates, glasses and cutlery and since you are in France, you can go to the local market in beautiful Amboise and eat picnic style every day. The house has a little terrace...

We stayed in the small cottage on the 9 hole golf course. The accommodation was much smaller and not as well equipped as we expected. To get to the cottage we had to walk across the golf course, there was a golf cart which we would have liked to use, but this was used by the owners for when they...

Dear Marsbar NZ Thank you for taking the time to write a review after your stay in our establishment. We are rather puzzled by some of your comments, for example the golf cart is not included in the price of your room at our B&B. The Loge de Vignes is an annexe to the main house, and we are sorry...

“All rooms are delightful and we have seen them all over the years. However as this is a converted barn those who find stairs (even just one easy flight) difficult might prefer to choose one on the ground floor.”
