We just came back from our one week holiday at Artemis Apartments in Gouves. Our stay was wonderful. Our thanks to Sotiris and his family for their lovely accommodation and their helpful attitude. As we went as a family with a girl of one year and 10 months, we had some concerns prior to our stay, if the accommodation would...

Our first visit to Crete and Artemis. We read the reviews before we went and having had a 2 week holiday there I can totally understand why the Artemis receives so many great reviews. We were met on our arrival by Sotiris and from there onward it was relax time. Whatever you needed was on hand we were made to...

Artemis is a lovely place. I bought a holiday for myself alone, it was a kind of mystery holiday, I never knew the destination in Crete, I was pleased to end up in Gouves. My room was very nice, with an upstairs balcony. I could hear the cicadas and it was most relaxing. The pool area was very nice and...

We arrived mid afternoon to be dropped off by a gravel path which looks like the middle of no where bit of a chore dragging the cases in the heat but once we got to apartments we were greeted by Popi who quickly showed us to our room and sorted aircon and safe for us .The apartments are in a...

Great hosts - Poppy and Sotires - nothing is too much trouble for them, lovely, clean apartment, well looked after. Nice pool, excellent breakfasts, superb barbecue nights. Many of the guests had been before, some for the 5th and 6th time, you can tell why people go back there so much. A very short walk to the beach and many...

We arrived at 1.30am and was immediately greeted and shown to our room by sotiris. We then joined him and fellow guests in the bar for a few cocktails. It quickly became apparent that most of the guests are repeat customers and we can see why. The rooms are clean and comfortable and serviced regularly. The pool area is well...

Just got back from here...what an absolute gem of a place. From the beginning we were welcomed into this family run establishment with open arms. Soteris, Poppy, Stavros and family are the loveliest people and genuine. They go out of their way to make sure you have a nice, relaxing holiday. Our room was lovely (1 bed apt) with balcony...

Great place very relaxing, all very quiet and peaceful. Not too far (300m) from the beach. If you are going to Gouves make sure you visit the main street which is not immediately obvious at first, go to the front turn right and then walk along to the first major road on the right (@ 300m) then walk up this...
