My fiancé and I stayed here in December 2016 the hotel and staff were amazing. Hotel manager, restaurant manager and chef were amazing, they even asked if we wanted anything special made on certain days! We had a private dinner on the beach/balcony area which again was over and above, so romantic and beautiful! I would definitely recommend this resort...

Wonderful relaxing hotel set in garden surroundings with spacious individual villas and own private pool. Food menus were varied and delicious with different themed nights, for example barbecues on the beach, and nightly entertainment. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to provide special personalised touches. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place really is off the beaten track. I say that so that you can prepare yourselves for 15 minutes of unmade up and bumpy road before you reach the lush vegetation and seclusion of The Residence. It really is worth it. We needed somewhere to get away, recharge our batteries and think about where and what next. This place...

It's a long and bumpy ride from the airport to this hotel but once you pass through the hotel gates, you feel like you've arrived at an oasis of calm and tranquility. This resort is incredible. The food and service are outstanding. Everyone at this establishment bends over backwards to fulfill all requests. The F&B manager is spectacular!!! The restaurant manager is proficient and professional. Jemma should bottled and sold!!! The facilities at this establishment leave you with a distinct realisation that private villa living is both affordable and memorable. Don't be...

We were looking for a romantic and relaxing vacation. We really liked the big beautiful room and the private pool. The room and pool are surrounded with flora so it really gave a feeling of privacy. Also the location is a bit isolated which was ideal for us - it was quiet and beautiful, the beach is beautiful as well...

Dear ענת ל Thank you for taking the time to post your review I am so happy to see that you enjoyed your time with us and that you understand that Zanzibar is still very much part of Africa and can not be compared to other destinations. For me that is what makes it so special and unique. I look...

Slightly tough one to review. I've been here for 6 nights and have 2 left. Firstly some reviewers have highlighted the food and the tide at the beach as a concern. So long as you manage your expectations you'll have a great time here. It is a 60-90 min journey from the airport at most. So the property itself is...

Dear Perhentians Thank you for taking the time to post your review I have to agree with you that it is all about expectations. Zanzibar is still very much Africa and in no way as well developed as other destination. Therein lies the charm for me to go to a relatively unspoiled part of the world where the management and...
