We were delighted to have spent another two night stops at le Dauphin. As always the welcome was warm, the rooms fine and the cuisine in the popular and intimate restaurant was of excelklent quality. We both took the Menu Touristique and we both had the Brochette mixed grill which was every bit as good as it was last year....

This traditional small Logis de France is conveniently situated on the approach to a pleasant small town in the Sologne, just off the A20 - perfect for stopovers on the north south route through France. We were particularly tired when we arrived and we left the next morning feeling completely refreshed and revived. Our quiet room was unremarkable but spotlessly...

If you enjoy good food, good hospitality and a good night’s sleep then Le Dauphin in Salbris ticks all those boxes. My parents make a point of staying here every year going and coming back from the South of France and this year my husband and I decided we would drive instead of flying. The rooms are very comfortable and...

It's been several years that we are staying at your adorable hotel and every time we are at ease and satisfied because of your warm welcome and thoughtfull care. We know we (we allways come with a bunch of different people) aren't the most easiest of people...but still, your efforts and patience gives us the best of time. We enjoy...

We stayed at the Dauphine for the last two nights of our three week holiday in France - we had found this hotel via Google and Trip Advisor and it certainly lived up to the reports. Celine is very very welcoming, the rooms very comfortable and dinner and breakfast excellent. Most importantly the hotel staff are equally as helpful and...

we stopped for one night on our journey to the South of France. The room was fine, a bit basic but had everything we expected but the real highlight was dinner! The best meal we both had over the course of a week's holiday! So delicious and the best creme brulee of all time. Celine and her husband were both...

Located on the edge of the small but pleasant Salbris town centre, with easy access to the motorway. There is a Carrefour supermarket opposite for fuel and groceries etc. Small family run hotel with warm and charming welcome. Good size room, comfortable and stylishly decorated. Car park locked overnight for added security. Pleasant grounds for drinks or relaxing. Well presented...

Over the past forty years my wife and I have probably stayed in a substantial portion of all the Logis Hotels in the excellent guide booklet which the Organisation provides. For us Hotel Dauphane where we have stayed on several occasions on route to the Ardeche, epitomises what is best about these family run hotels. The building is traditional, the...

We stay at Le Dauphin whenever we can on our way up or down France. There is always a lovely welcome from Celine, who is relaxed and friendly, but never forgets that we are paying for service as well. The old-fashioned bar is quite sweet for a pre-dinner drink, or we like to go in the garden if the weather...

Have stayed here several times. Lovely people. Excellent food eaten in garden when weather permits. Comfortable bed and very clean. Conviently placed for autoroute. Near supermarket and fuel. Salbris is a pleasant town for a wander.
