We actually decided to honeymoon in Costa Rica because of L'acqua Viva Resort and Spa. We rented a car and drove out to Nosara from Juan Santamaría International Airport--it was about 4.5/5 hours but I highly suggest doing that as it added an extra layer of adventure and sightseeing to the trip! The moment we walked into L'acqua Viva Resort,...

It is a nice hotel that allows a pleasant rest. Service and support from associates are very good. The variety of plants that adorn the hotel makes it much more rich and beautiful. I recommend it as a wonderful hotel not only for couples but family too.

We loved the Master Suite, it had a gorgeous view of the pool. Great breakfast, we ordered "Huevos Rancheros" and the staff is always willing to help with a great smile :) We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful getaway at L'acqua Viva Resort, a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip, beautiful people, delicious food, lovely rooms. I enjoyed my accommodations very much, the pools, the beaches, canopy (ziplining), eco-friendly grounds, friendly staff.

We stayed here at the recommendation of another smaller property owner. The facility was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and met our needs. We got the last room at the budget end of the spectrum and found the room itself to be very accommodating. Getting the last room the location was close to the road...

This place was a ghost of the "resort" they clan to be. I booked this place for my honeymoon. I wanted to have an "authentic Costa Rican" experience. No bougie American resort for us! Well, that's what I thought! This place was horrible from beginning to end. A true tourist trap! This is a place you can get stuck in...

My husband and 6 year old daughter stayed here for 8 days in April 2015 and had a lovely time. We upgraded our standard room to a Junior suite and our Jr. Suite was spacious and open, allowing us to enjoy the wild life outside our window. We saw howler monkeys, a woodpecker family and several small bats. It is...

The location is terrible. Their website describes it as scenic last 45 minute drive to Nosara but in reality its a 1 lane dirt and rock trail with no markings or signs and many Ys in the road, Definitly don't attempt by evening. Also half way down the road they fail to tell you there is no bridge and there...

This hotel was really beautiful from the outside. The reason we stayed was because we were tired and the kids wanted out of the car and to swim. The Service was pretty good at the desk. It was very informal and more like checking in to a hostel though. Not a whole lot of upstanding professionalism one would normally expect...

The hotel architecture is really nice. The room was comfortable and clean. There are minor issues that show the hotel had better days (i.e. balcony door lock that doesn't close, a toilet that is not attached to the floor). There were few people in the property. The big restaurant only had 1 other table occupied the times we visit. The...
