This place must not have the same ownership as the previous reviews. We had a great stay. It is something between a hotel and a bed and breakfast ie the owner/host does it all (works and lives and cleans and cooks.) the owner speaks French, German and English. You can’t order different breakfast foods. But there was a buffet and some home-cooked items. The food was tasty and fresh. The jellies and some pastries were homemade. The host was super nice and accommodating. She helped us pick a hike. The rooms were clean.

Let's start saying that the town of this hotel seems abandoned. Well, also the hotel seems abandoned. The room was ok, but they did not change the bath towels the day after so I had to shower and to dry out with the same towel of the day before (I got in the hotel late night and there was no one from the staff starting from 19:00 till morning, so I could not claim). Breakfast is ok but can be curated better, they do not serve lunch and dinner.

We stayed for 4 days at this place. The only good thing about this motel - it's cheap and clean (actually we didn't meet any not clean accommodation in Germany at all). We booked it on booking.com and send several emal directly to motel with questions. They promissed us 2 separate beds for our son and daughter, but when we arrived , there was only single bed.... and they didn't want to change it until I gave him printed email with promissed and started to yell. In all email we received (and on booking.com) it's not mentioned that I should pay only in cash. But owner (pretty rude person) accepted cash only. Also, neither in email nor on booking wasn't mentioned that there is a cleaning fees, but still they charged us 20 euro cleaning fees....and they consider themself HOTEL!!! (what a joke). They have a tiny swimming pool, but so dirty pool I've never seen in my life (and I visited a lot of countries). The advertised sauna - just a bogus. Before owner gave us a key to a room, he requested to fill out a huge questioner with our private data and wanted to take our passports!!! He said some BS that this is normal practice in ALL hotels in Europe... the last place where I met such thing , was USSR in 80-s. They advertised WiFi, but when I asked for it, they again gave me to write down all my private data (include something bank account) and later owner came and said that WiFi is broken! So, we couldn't even check the weather. So, I wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel/motel .
