We spent a week in full board. We are not a fan in general of the all inclusive concept but here it is different, the cuisine is good, only the cocktails were not great. We had a modern and very clean room. The hotel is human-sized and the staff extremely friendly. The hotel is well placed, one can go to the beach and walk around the village without taking the car. We had a great stay thanks to the whole team. Good job.

Hotel is more than average, a little dated. The rooms could do with a bit of rejuvenation with a bathroom to be overhauled. For your electric razor and/or hair dryer, bring an extension cord because there is no power outlet in the bathroom. There is also no shelf to place your toiletries. We spent 10 wonderful days at Fragiskos, with our 19 month old baby, it was one of my favorite stays, the Inn is very nice, well located with warm, kind, welcoming staff, everything to make you have the most beautiful stay. Certain rooms are older but very suitable, moreover we did not stay much. They are big which is great for our daughter who needed space. The Inn is located right next to restaurants and shops in Matala and especially the beach. The south of Crete is wilder with stunning wilderness landscapes. The best restaurants, varied without being too much, a part made on site, Greek specialities with every meal and for all tastes, and a view of the beach, the sea and even the sunset. Things to do at the Pension are great: 2 swimming pools and 1 paddling pool, good size and clean, games available for young and old, a fitness room, again everything to have fun and relax. I thank the whole team for this stay and mention + to Harris who always had a kind word and special attention for our daughter! Go there with your eyes closed, we will go back!!

Really top notch staff. I was able to do all the excursions and they are all worth doing without exception. Everyone is very welcoming and everything is accessible. The food is very varied, everything is delicious, there is something for all tastes, for those with a sweet tooth, there are snacks from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., not insignificant for those who are hungry between meals, the sun makes Matala hungry! A great stay in a friendly, comfortable Pension, top food and ideally located near the romantic village of Matala. Great staff , manager with little care , attentive reception, waitresses and cook super nice, maid very nice. Only one flat but of size! . The manager of the Kristos bar very unpleasant, rude and borderline insulting at times. He's obviously out of place in this idyllic place. It would be really wise to put the restaurant waitresses who are smiling and pleasant at this position. The bar must be a friendly meeting place.

I do not recommend the hotel. I agree with the people who talk about the cleanliness of the rooms but that's all the bathroom needs to be renovated, the non-existent terrace, no interesting view from our room, the catastrophic soundproofing.
