They overbook then place you wherever they find a place in the village. Ended up in a totally different room with giant holes in the bathroom and very disgusting room. Complained and was changed to another building (looked like an abandoned hotel from last century) with single beds like kids (while we ordered couples room and king bed), very old bathroom and not cleaned plus the climatisation was from last century. When we saw it was barely working, we checked outside: ventilation was rusty, full of molds/mushrooms. Extremely unsafe! We left immediately and they started to be EXTREMELY nasty and rude, refusing to refund us. Will go to court. Believe me, avoid at all costs because you might very well be treated the same; I've never been treated like this ever and I traveled around the world. Real shame…

Very nice hotel only few minutes far from the Matala beach and the center. We had booked with breakfast included who was definitely worth it. Staff from the reception and the restaurant very helpful and kind. Every Wednesday they had live music who we enjoyed with very delicious cocktails.

We booked and were accommodated in the Matala Bay Annex Building Rental Rooms, which is located right across from the Matala Bay Hotel. A very good breakfast and dinner were served in the main building and we could use all the facilities of the hotel. Free parking. Very nice pool. The rooms are clean, have a refrigerator, air conditioning, a balcony and in some rooms a small kitchen. the furniture is a little older, but well maintained. I recommend the Annex Building, which is a little cheaper, and a the Hotel to, which is nicely renovated and has a modern look.

We stayed 2 nights in an enormous room on the top floor, with a big terrace with view on the mountains. Nothing to say: the room is simple, but comfortable and equipped with all the necessary services. We also enjoyed the breakfast along the hotel swimming pool and the possibility to use the hotel parking area. The hotel is 5 minutes walking from the beach and the city centre. Highly recommended, I will certainly consider booking it again,

There must be some new renovated rooms in the hotel, but we got some tiny old room with a loud and old fridge. The bathroom was even worse: Old, broken and dirty walls, small shower and a ventilation "system" where you can easily follow the conversation in the neighbour rooms.

Great stay, we booked a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect. Nice clean large rooms, cleaned daily. Pool area is lovely and plenty of sun loungers. 5 min walk to the beach, lots of lovely bars & restaurants. Hotel also organised a private transfer to and from the airport, nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be returning.

Everything was perfect!! Nice Location few minutes walking to the famous beach of Matala. Staff always friendly and helpful . The breakfast was really nice , we had visit many hotels in our trip in Crete but this one was defiantly the best. I recommend .

Very nice hotel with very comfortable rooms and very kind staff! We stayed there for 1 week and it was the best holidays ever had! You can also enjoy nice cocktails at the Pool Bar next to the Swimming Pool! We'll be back!

This hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of the Matala beach. Free parking is a bonus in this area, where it's very difficult to park during the peak season. Room was comfortable and the balcony was overlooking the pool. Wi-fi was good There was too much noise during the night, from inside the hotel. Bathroom was small.
