We loved staying at Liz and Ned's bed and breakfast! Liz was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was wonderful. We also enjoyed watching Ned milk the cows in the morning, and exploring the church ruins next door. It was a fantastic visit and we wish we could have stayed for longer!

My husband and I stayed at the Castleview Farm B&B for one night, but wished we had booked for more than one night. Liz was very friendly and accommodating, and her granddaughter was a doll! Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Ned as we missed the evening milking. We did enjoy talking to Liz about farm life and her family....

It was a cold day and we arrived after 3 pm the heating was not on. Liz did turn it on when we asked and was keen to promote the local attractions. We really came to have a rest before we took the ferry. We did buy food for an evening snack and sat in the lounge. Liz was keen...

We spent only one night at Liz's B&B, but how relaxing, and pleasant! We wanted a place we could stay after our visit at the National Stud and Castleview was convenient while also in beautiful quiet countryside. We actually stopped there before going to the National Stud because Liz had discount tickets available. The room was cozy, clean and spacious for...

I had high hopes for Castleview Farm. The reviews looked amazing, and the owners were responsive to emails. Unfortunately, when we arrived, things went south quickly. We were greeted warmly, and show into the sitting room, which has a million little breakable things within easy reach of my toddler. My husband took him outside while I tried to sort the...

We stayed five nights with Liz and her family. The rooms have everything you need, arranged for your comfort. Liz checked with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed, and organised discounts at local businesses. Loved being on the farm and the ruins next door are well worth a visit. Great base for visiting Kildare and the...

Loved meeting with Liz and her husband and walking around the property. this is a workinig dairy farm and the B&B was very clean and welcoming. Liz helped me with my perfume drenched purse by hanging it out on her line after i washed it up. The breakfast was filling and very pleasant. We met a few other guests and...

We arrived early to recoup from jet lag. Liz encouraged us to get supper in the local town of Kildare to prevent waking miserably hungry. We are very glad that she helped us consider this because even after a delicious large meal at the local restaurant recommended, we both woke up ravenous though well rested. This was quickly resolved though...

Lix Fitzpatrick, the lovely landlady opened up especially for us two ladies from Cornwall as we had not booked in advance and there were no other places vacant. Private tea and coffee making facilities, fresh milk in the fridge just outside the rooms, together with a microwave if you want to use it. The bedrooms were warm, comfortable, quiet and...

We were coming through Kildare, and were very lucky to end up staying the night in the Castleview Farm Bed & Breakfast; of all the places we stayed during our trip, this was the best. Liz and her husband were very friendly and helpful, the room was warm and clean, and the location is great (less than 10 minutes from...
