The pool 'entertainment' is terrible and very loud. If you want a relaxing holiday go somewhere else. It consists of a mixture of cheesy pop tunes, 80's 'classics' and someone occasionally joining in with the singing over a microphone. I spoke to the staff who turned it down for 2 minutes and then put it back on again. Save your... More

I stayed here with my three small 3 children. The good things were the bed was firm, the location of the beach chairs was good... nice cappucino and sweet pastry from pool bar. The little apartments are a bit dated. There was mould in the bathroom shower. The kitchenette was very old and needs updating. The walls between the apartments... More

Great studio room with AMAZING VIEW to the bay and town. We were able to check in 3 hours early and check out an hour late free of charge. The reception staff showed us to our room which was very clean. We were able to park inside the gated premises nearby our studio. The pool area was great with a... More

Stayed here for two nights on a short visit to San Vito. The apartment is very basic with basic decor which is fine as we did not plan to spend time in the room. The apartment was very clean and the AC worked very well in the hot weather. The downside is the shower. It was extremely small and there... More

We spent a week in San Vito and loved every minute of our stay! The views from our private balcony were breathtaking! Immediately upon arrival the staff was very helpful. We spoke very little Italian but it was no problem! The staff made sure we had everything we needed. There is a little cafe next to the pool where you... More

First, let me start off with how amazing the views are from the rooms. We had a second story room over looking the pool, and looking past the pool was the ocean and an amazing view of the mountain. The staff were exceptionally helpful, spoke very good English, and even recommended several places to eat, as well as informed us... More

We expected a lot more than we got in the end. Let me explain why: the holiday apartment we stayed in was big but the furniture is very old and broken. The kitchen is too small and the fridge was okay. The bathroom is too small, especially the shower. Can't turn in that small area. It was hot so that's... More

We stayed at Cala Mancina for 1 week, and enjoyed every minute of it. The pool area is great but even greater is the beach in town, easy walking distance to Cala Mancina. The rooms are large, well appointed, have a small limited kitchen, and some offer wonderful views over the headland. It is within easy driving distance to Zangara... More

The hotel is disproportionately overpriced, I would be keen to find out how they got the 4 * rating in the first place. They couldn't get the basic thing right - breakfast! There is practically NONE, although our booking clearly said "buffet breakfast" - after all this is the least you expect if this meal is included. What we got... More

Pro: Close to the beach (5 min) and the city (~7-8 min). The hotel had a reserved part of the San Vito Lo Capo beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas for guests, which was great. The beach is excellent - but it would be nice to go there when there is less crowd. Our apartment was half embedded in a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located on a green hillside just a few meters from the beach and the marina, between trees and flowering shrubs, the Villaggio Cala Mancina overlooks at the beautiful bay of San Vito Lo Capo with its expanse of white sand, offering a panorama of incomparable beauty. The village, with its typical Mediterranean-style architecture, offers the ultimate in comfort with hospitality and services comparable to a four star hotel. The elegance of the finishes and fittings, the refinement of the furnishings, the careful arrangement of green, the intelligent distribution of the common areas, the use of local handcrafts such as wrought iron, terra-cotta tiles, marble, natural stone and brick pavers, give the entire complex a unique personality. Outside, Mediterranean gardens, where you can stroll along the paths of light and vibrant colors. Behind the apartments, almost suspended over the sea, there is a large pinewood belonging to the village, from where you can admire the small town with its white houses and the wonderful bay. ... more   less
