We stayed here a few nights to relax and explore the Serra de Estrela mountains. The Quinta is completely renovated and have nice rooms and a fine restaurant. Breakfast is always inside, dinner in the restaurant outside. The kitchen is great with all kinds of local and international food. The hotel room was fine. We had the family room, with...

We stayed 2 nights with a group of 12 travelers. This is a lovely property with views of the valley from well-appointed, comfortable rooms. The area is wonderful for hiking with many trails to choose from. We took a day-trip to the slate village of Piadao which is a "must see" if you're in this area. We slept well in...

The hotel, set into the side of a beautiful mountain village, was cozy and well kept. The decore went so perfectly with the mountain setting, it was quite fun to poke around the hotel and see all the art, rugs, books, and cozy nooks. Perfect place from which to explore the area, especially if one has a car. We just...

Spent a very pleasurable afternoon having drinks in the sun on the terrace bar of Quinta da Geia. With stunning views over the Serra da Estrela's this place is definitely worth a visit. Situated in the picturesque village of Aldeia das Dez, this hotel has an ideal location. This time it was only for drinks but we have eaten here...

So far this Quinta has been the nicest one of our Portugal trip in 2015. Location is great, room is nice and big and the breakfast is really good and has many things to offer. The scrambled eggs are really good. However, it needs some luck to get a second cup of the very good coffee, as the person who...

This was my first visit to Portugal and to Quinta Da Geia. My husband had been before with Portugal Off Road and insisted we go so I could see the place. Fantastic place, brilliant service and the food was superb. Weather wasn't great for a day or so but lots to go and see. I would recommend this to anyone...

Only used the restaurant here, didn't stay in the hotel. Before our meal we had a wander around the grounds of the hotel which offer stunning views. The décor is quirky, the main restaurant has paintings by a Dutch artist and when we commented on them the owners showed us a book of the artists work and discussed the paintings...

This location is ideal for walkers and hikers, kayakers. Excellent views, comfortable rooms, a first class restaurant and picnic lunches prepared to order, including the picnic blanket. Cute little village for an rural escape. Off the beaten path. Email for directions or have a good gps. Michelin recommended.

We have been here many times and every time , it is hardly possible, the owners improved something. Services, new balcony at room 2 ( recommending). The wifi is perfect in all rooms now. And, last but not least: the staff, very professional and friendly. Special attention for the gardens and the swimmingpool, Everything gives you inspiration for your own...

Stayed during a weekend. Very nice, comfortable and attentive staff. Great food. Located in a beautiful village surrounded by mountains. Decoration looks and feels like a family house, with several quiet sitting areas.
