We spent four peaceful nights in the Cow Shed at Launde Farm Cottages. The accommodation was ideal for two, clean and well-equipped - a super shower room and wonderfully comfortable bed. The only thing we lacked was a microwave. We were welcomed by Pippa, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area (we would recommend Oakham, Uppingham, local...

We had a most wonderful stay at Launde Farm Cottages where Pippa, the owner, could not have made us feel more welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. We had home made cakes to greet us on arrival! The accommodation is deliightfully and tastefully renovated from old farm buildings on a working farm in the most beautiful location...

We had the good fortune to stay with Pippa and her family while attending a university event at Leicester. Their beautiful farm is an easy 30 minute drive from the city in a lovely serene setting, we awoke to the soft bleating of sheep and bird calls. The rooms are in a renovated old farm building which is both immaculately...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in the 'cow shed'. It was wonderful and we really couldn't have asked for more. The farm is beautiful and very well kept, and in a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. If you are travelling with a horse, there are some good facilities on site and easy access to...
