That's how this chain of hotels is advertised by Crerar in their brochure we picked up at this( Inn, hotel) or whatever but not in my book it isn't . We stayed one night on our journey further north and believe me this was one too many. The bedroom 111 was very basic and small with no wardrobe to hang...

We stayed here from the 18th-23rd June 2013, half board basis. Like others we had difficulty locating the hotel as our paperwork named it as the 'Glencoe Hotel' but they have added a new restaurant named 'Glencoe Gathering' to the side, next to the petrol station thus completely changing the look of the place. We were looking for the Glencoe...

I stayed here on 21st June 2013 with a friend after arriving by m/cycle. As others have said at some stage the hotel has recently changed its name to Glencoe Inn, there is a tiny sign near the door still declaring Glencoe Hotel but it is not visible from the roadside. From the outside the hotel, sorry Inn, appears shabby....

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. Let me start by apologising for not meeting your expectations and allowing you to leave us dissatisfied. We have recently changed our name from The Glencoe Hotel to the Glencoe Inn. Something we did to suit the more relaxed, family, biker, walker and dog friendly place that we are very...

Booked in February for two nights . For a start we had trouble finding it as the hotel had changed its name from hotel to inn. First impressions of building not good, dead leaves and moss with empty flower pots outside. The room was amazing, in a bad way, the ' dressing table ' looked like an old kitchen unit...

Stayed there on Saturday night. Unable to contact them by telephone as the fax was connected to the number! No hot water in the afternoon, only early morning and evening. Room very run down, desperately needs an overhaul. Corridor smelt very musty. No reception after 11pm, Need to get a key to get back in. Breakfast dining area has stunning views...

We stayed at this hotel in May 2013. We booked two rooms for our party. One was rather nice, with chairs, nice curtains, etc. The other room was totally bare bones. The bathroom looked just marginally clean and was terribly out of date. We arrived really tired from a long drive and we immediately told we couldn't eat at the...

This hotel is just OK but could be so much better. I think they are undergoing a refurbishment but it needs it. The bathroom was fresh and clean in our room but the rest of the room was shabby. Nice view of the loch but we had lovely weather - room would be depressing otherwise. The food was adequate but...

Had a great 4 day stay here. Spotless room, nicely furnished. Really friendly and helpful staff and a lovely location. It is set nearer the road than the picture suggests and this means you are woken by passing lorries, and cars and vans on the gravel drive, quite early. If like us you are on a walking holiday then this...

The Glencoe Hotel was the third and final stop over on our Skye road trip. First impressions count and the hotel lets itself down with a lack of curb appeal. The profile picture above is from the side of the hotel which looks better, but isn't what you see when you arrive. Turn through 180 degrees however and the scenery...

Great location & a beautiful setting over looking the Loch, we did have the best room of course, we did need comfort after a days mountaineering. Although the bathroom was a bit of a let down it didn't compliment the room at all , very small & a bit tatty round the edges. But the stay was very relaxing and...
