I went to Glencoe House a couple of days before the New Year. Just the drive is priceless. Along beautiful Lochs and untouched hills you arrive to a mysterious small town a little surreal. Then you drive through a short hill that takes you to the prestigious mansion. From the outside the house gives you a strange feeling of comfort...

Thank you for taking the trouble to post a review. We have to agree with you that Lord Strathcona knew what he was doing when he built a house in this location! We never get tired looking at the views! We are also very happy that we struck the right cord with you, we like to think we offer true...

Wonderful place to stay, the suite was fantastic, service brilliant while being relaxed and friendly. The fire was relayed every day and the wood basket restocked so we could lounge on the sofas in front of a roaring fire in the late afternoons and evenings. Linens, dressing gowns, furnishings etc are all extremely high quality. The reason it doesn't get...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. In addition, thank you for your feedback. We have given your comments with regards to the food to the kitchen and I am sure they are taking it on board. Food preferences can be quite personal and we offer bespoke dinners, so maybe you could be so kind to let...

Having returned for our second visit to Glencoe House, we were extremely pleased to experience the same first class service that we received 2 years ago. Roger, and his team with Susan, Nicky and Michael, were quietly efficient and extremely professional. We cannot say enough to recommend this establishment. We will be back in May 2017, and know that this...

I was on a tour of about 18 people and we arrived at Glencoe House (occupying all rooms) to Champagne refreshment and a nice lad named Bertie who helped us with our bags to the rooms as no lift was available. We had arranged for a formal dinner that evening and the service, attentiveness, and food was impeccable as was...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are delighted that you (and hopefully your group!) enjoyed your stay. You can't come to the Highlands and not sample the single malt whiskeys…so we are glad that we could help you choose one to your liking. Also by staying in suite 7 you would have had the best...

After our first stay about a year ago left us with such positive impressions, it was clear that we had to return to Glencoe House on our next vacation to Scotland. And again, the only negative thing about our stay was that it was too short - which is our own fault. :-) The surroundings are still stunningly beautiful, the...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. After two visits you are now more friends than guests! Also we are delighted that you find Glencoe House more of a home than a hotel; this is just what we hoped for. We are also happy that the food was to your taste and the Bayleaf team certainly want...

We thoroughly enjoyed the Glencoe House. Mom and I had stayed here one night and it was lovely. The room was very comfortable. The staff was so great as well. Ann was so lovely and really made us feel like we were at home. Michael, who served us our meals in our room was so nice and friendly as well....

From the minute you arrive this is a wonderful experience. We were greeted with a glass of bubbly after a long drive up from a previous stop in the Lake District . Susan was friendly and gave us a history lesson on the house, which we found very interesting. Then the suite! Wow,everything is first class from the decor and furnishings...

I stayed here for 4 nights in October as a bit of a getaway from city life. The hotel and the surrounding area were perfect for this. The all-suite nature of the hotel with meals served in-room and the in-room bar give a very private experience. In terms of staff, food quality, size of the suites and the location of...
