A very nicely appointed room, meticulously clean with plenty of space and spectacular views. The king bed was very comfortable. Seating options were limited while there was a table and chairs on the balcony it was quite windy and a little damp during our stay so not ideal. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of food options and fresh fruits. Our... More

The Coromandel is beautiful and this is a great place to stay to see it. The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfasts are superb and the hosts are welcoming, very friendly and offer all sorts of ideas for your stay on the Peninsula. Could not be better.

Although our arrival was a little unexpected following a booking mix-up by our travel agents, Kathryn and Peter made us very welcome making up a room for our stay. Going the extra mile for us was an understatement. Great accommodation in a quiet but convenient location. The breakfasts were delicious and certainly set us up for the day. A very... More

Kathryn and Peter were wonderful hosts and made us feel very much at home. The house sits high above Whangamata in a quiet location and affords excellent views of the Pacific Ocean. Our room was spacious, had a balcony and was perfectly presented and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent in all aspects and the soiree on the main balcony in... More

Right from the start a welcome. A most pleasant hostess and host and the accommodation is great. Lovely aspect - a long walk or drive into town. Nothing was too much trouble for Kathryn and Peter. It isn't cheap but if you can afford it, stay here.

After driving from Auckland, we were greeted by Kathryn who fetched us beverages and visited with us, just like talking to an old friend. She provided us with a wealth of information about the area and showed us our spacious room: Perfectly clean, incredible view, refrigerator with beverages, snacks, wine, and a very quiet area. Breakfast was beautiful and abundant,... More

We spent 3 nights here and were very happy with every aspect. Great bed, copious breakfasts, lovely "apéritifs" before we went out to dinner plus a taxi service down to the town! Lovely atmosphere and very relaxing. No hesitation in recommending this B & B to anyone. A 5 * experience!

Perfect accommodation in this fantastic House. We had a large, nicely furnished room with stunning views and a 5-star bathroom. Small things like chocolate and free drinks in the refrigerator in the room was a pleasant surprise. Kathryn and Peter are excellent hosts who really invited us into their home. They are genuinely interested in people and not least their... More

We spent 2 nights . We had a very nice room on the top floor. Everything one needs in the room which was very comfortable with great bed. Plus all the goodies in the fridge are complimentary. A 1st for us anywhere in the world. Being west facing it could do with a airconditioned or a fan otherwise no complaints.... More

Rodney, thanks so much for reviewing Pacific View. One of the pleasures of operating our B&B is being able to share our beautiful Coromandel Region with our guests. We were so sad therefore that you were most unwell during your stay and unable to benefit from your visit. I'm sorry also that it was so hot during your time with... More
