Pacific View B&B is certainly a beautiful accommodation, with lovely views, comfortable beds, and great amenities. What makes it stand out however are the hosts/owners Kathryn and Peter. Even before we arrived, they were guiding our trip, to help us manage cancellations in our scheduled outdoor activities that were necessitated by heavy rains, rough surf, and high winds. The Coromandel...

Thanks so much for your very complimentary review and it is great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us at Pacific View. Also, despite the bad weather we are pleased you left our area knowing that the Coromandel was a beautiful place. Your review and feedback makes it all worthwhile for us and it is good to hear...

An excellent bed and breakfast. Kathryn and Peter take their duties as hosts very seriously and do everything possible to make your stay with them a memorable exoerience. There are 3 rooms available, all lovely, and although it is at the more expensive end of the price range we budgeted for if you can afford several nights stay here then...

We stayed here for one night on our honeymoon. We had never stayed in a BnB before so did not know quite what to expect, but we loved it. Kathryn and Peter are lovely and all the little touches are what perfected our stay: home baked goodies, port, upgrade to the beautiful coromandel room, drinks with our hosts and other...

We had an awesome 2 night stay with Kathryn & Peter. From the moment we stepped inside the front door we felt welcome in their beautiful home. The little extra touches in our room like a small vase of fresh flowers, a selection of home baking to have with our tea and coffee, cold water , juice and a lovely...

Hi Denise & Mark, thank you so much for your TA review and feedback. We're really glad you enjoyed your stay at our B&B especially as I know you don't usually choose to stay at Bed and Breakfasts. It was such a shame Brits at the Beach had such horrible weather - hopefully next year will be better. Perhaps we'll...

Pacific View is on top of the highest hill in Whangmata with 180 degree views out to the Pacific Ocean. Our Pacific King Room was beautiful and spotless, with free wi-fi, and our breakfast was freshly cooked to order. On our first evening we enjoyed wine and freshly cooked fish (caught by Peter) canapés with hosts Katherine Officer and Peter...

We just love it when our guests write reviews about their stay with us particularly when they've enjoyed their stay so thank you so much for sharing your thoughts Richard and Susan. We are getting ready to start welcoming guests for our next season and Peter is looking forward to catching lots of fish to share with them. We hope...

Jane & Peter have raised the bar in B&B lodging. Their gorgeous home delivers delicious South Pacific breezes and 180-degree sunrises and sunsets over the sparkling South Pacific ocean, overlooking one of the most scenic beaches in Coromandel. Jane is a spectacular cook and breakfast is a spectacular affair. Evenings begin with lovely tea and aperitifs with them; they are...

We had the pleasure of staying with Kathryn and Peter in February 2014 and were made to feel most welcome almost part of the family. The room was very well appointed and very comfortable with superb views from the balcony. The added advantage was the lift to take our heavy bags to our room. Their hospitality was characterized by 'Going...
