The hotel is situated away from the town but has great views and is very quiet. The hosts were great and the facilities good [there is a laundry]. The shower is too short for some one 6 foot or over. The accommodation was in a loft space and at the time we went it was very comfortable but have reservations...

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute. The accommodation has amazing views while being peaceful and private. Sitting on our balcony watching the sun go down with a glass of wine was great. The owners Sallie and David are very welcoming and lovely, I left with new friends. Breakfast was wonderful, I had the fruit plate to...

Located out of town, but facing east and overlooking the town and Bay, Brenton Lodge was an excellent place to stay. Sallie and David were very friendly and served us our best breakfast in New Zealand. We had a nice airy room, with a nice bed and shower. We did not try the pool as affected by Cyclone Cook, but...

This place could be described as a guest house but that doesn’t do it justice. The couple who own and run it were friendly, efficient and helpful. The accommodation was as luxurious as any hotel we have ever stayed at, set in beautiful grounds and there was even a swimming pool. Our balcony offered views of the Pacific Ocean and...

We stayed at Brenton Lodge for 2 nights and arrived to a very warm welcome from Sallie who showed us to our room. We had a wonderful sea view and the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was served on the terrace and was delicious, there is a good choice of dishes, which you select the night before. The...

The Brenton Lodgeis the place to got to on Coromadel Penisula. The location is fantastic, private location and a perfect room. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, felt home instantaneously, everything was just perfect. Not the "standard hotel atmospehre" but rather a very personal touch which made it so charming. Lovely breakfast opportunity, cooked to perfection. Of course,...

Brenton Lodge was the first stop on a long visit to NZ and David and Sallie made us feel so welcome. Our room was beautiful and private with a balcony overlooking the gorgeous garden and the ocean in the distance. The meals were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Their suggestions of things to do in the area were perfect. Can't...

Thanks David and Sallie for making our last stop in New Zealand a special one. Nothing too much trouble for them with great recommendations and top hospitality. The Gin and Tonics in the garden bar were most welcome. We stayed in some great places in our month down under but none beats Brenton Lodge.

We stayed three nights at Brenton Lodge. It's in a great position for getting out and about and both Sallie and Dave had some good recommendations.
