We just needed to spend one night in Turangi after doing the Alpine Crossing hike and we tried the Lodge. It was a short drive from the bus stop and as soon as we got there they were super friendly! After the hike we arrived back and they let us use their phone to order pizza to the room! The...

Stayed here for two nights (to do the Tongariro alpine crossing) and enjoyed our time here. The room was small but practical and the common kitchen area was very clean and well furnished for those who want to cook. The owners booked the shuttle bus for us for the Tongariro and were very useful for local recommendations.

A mate and I had a twin single room. Came with toilet and shower and free Wi-Fi. There's a shared living room and kitchen and it's all so well kept. Great value for money and exceptionally clean. Highly recommend this place if you're staying for just a night or two. A lot of locals use it as a base for...

This was also pristine. Everything looked brand new. The owners were really lovely and gave us some great advice about what to do in the area....

We LOVED staying here partially because all of the other people we met here here were so interesting! The kitchen was spotless, and we loved getting to know the other travelers over our meals. There's also a common room with comfy couches and a pool table. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and dated, but they...

This Lodge was in good location! 10-15 minute walk to closest restaurant. The room was fine, bathroom was small and slightly tight but fine for 1 night. Walls were quite thin so you could hear people talking in the next room and outside. But after 9:30 it was quiet.
