The rooms were big, clean, and had all the ammenities expected (Along with a decent kitchen and cooktop). Staff were friendly and very helpful with recommendations for activities and bookings in the area. Close to the Polynesian Spa, TePuia, and other attractions in the area.

Thanks for your comments. We aren't actually that close to the Polynesian Spa or Te Puia as they are in Rotorua which is about a 90 minute drive from Turangi but I know how these things get confused when you're enjoying a holiday.

Got in late, didn't need to check in as we had prepaid. Everything was clean and well presented, the studio room though older had plenty of space. Our car park was virtually at the door. We had a veranda with chairs overlooking a large grass area and beyond the tree lined river stopbank

Based on some old flood pictures we've seen we're very pleased we have that stopbank now even if it does hide the river from view. Thanks very much for your comments.

Stayed here with a tour group for 2 days. The rooms were clean and spacious. The one negative is that there is not great sound separation between rooms. We had suppers here both nights and they were among the best meals we had during our entire say on the North Island. Portions were a good but not excessive size and...

The rooms were clean and everything was in order. At the restaurant appetizers of garlic bread and shrimp were ordered and we also all ordered the steak and it was to die for! We stayed for 2 nights and would most definitely stay here again !

Thanks very much. The Angus Pure scotch fillet we use is great meat and we're glad to be able to present it to guests.

Room was clean and comfortable. Highlight was the large sauna. You have to book it for 1 hour blocks of time (access is with a separate key). There was only two of us but it could have easily fit 4 people lying down (2 upper, 2 lower) or 8 seated comfortably. Great way to unwind after a long day of...

Thanks for your comments. The Sauna gets a lot of use from our European guests but our New Zealand & Australian guests don't seem as keen. It's a pleasure just waiting to be discovered.

We were delighted with the spacious accommodations and friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. We took advantage of the hot tub after our hike on Tongariro and it was wonderful.

The hot tub is a great place to go after the Alpine Crossing if you're not too wrecked !!! Thanks for your comments.

This was our second trip to the Motel. We were there for 22 days in a family unit. Kaye and Brian are excellent hosts and the staff is friendly and professional. The Restaurant offers a good selection of dishes. Since we are there so long, they even prepared some special meals for us. We will hopefully be returning in April....

I had an excellent experience staying at Turangi Bridge Motel. It was winter but the room was warm and had electric blankets. There is free unrestricted wifi at a decent speed. Restaurant food is very high quality - I recommend trying the pork belly.

We had a good stay at the Turangi Bridge Motel: comfortable beds with nice linen, a big room with a kitchenette, and in a great location. The restaurant was also excellent - friendly, helpful staff and good food. We’ll definitely stay again.

Nice setting by the Tongariro river and very welcoming. Rooms are relatively small if you are travelling with any volume of luggage. The one very odd thing is the lack of towel rails anywhere in the unit... had to hang our towels on the corner of the open pantry door (which was actually a broom / ironing board cupboard). The...

Thanks very much. We also have self contained studios with Kitchen facilities which you may book for an additional $10 per night. The Studio unit you booked has only tea/coffee making facilities (hence no kitchen sink).
