Great location and well kitted out motel. Just across from a small beach - ideal for an early morning dip! Just a short drive or longish walk from supermarkets and restaurants. Ideal location for this area.

Our first night in New Zealand and we stayed here on our way to the Bay of Islands. Clean, comfortable rooms. Very accommodating staff and owner. Breakfast is not included but is available. It is also reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

My partner and I arrived on a Friday evening looking for someone relaxing with a good view. We arrived without having booked ahead and the person who checked us in was warm, friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a premium delis room with a big balcony overlooking the beach and sea. The room was spacious, clean and very well...

Great host - Welcomed with iced tea when shown to our accomodation. Although situated by busy road and people coming and going we were not disturbed and had good nights sleep both nights in very comfy bed. Great little beach across the road but didn't have time to explore as we were there for a wedding and golf. Whangaparoa Golf...

Whanagaparaoa Lodge was the perfect stop for us. Troy was so kind and helpful and the accommodation was excellent. The beach just opposite, was an unexpected bonus and there was a good selection of restaurants just a few minutes walk away.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. Great location to lots of beaches, whether walking or driving. Handy to the local shopping mall. Great room with spa bath, serviced daily. The property managers were very friendly and courteous. Kindly returned our speaker cord we had left behind.

Very comfortable stay. Large double room opposite Little Manly Beach. Very clean and little touches of a welcome note with bottled water. Troy and Tomoko were very helpful hosts and very friend. We were in that area for a couple of games of golf so it suited us. Close to local village and restaurants

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed the relaxation. Tony provided a lot of information on the local sites and we took advantage of goat island reserve to the north and the gannet colony and beach walk to the west. We had a kitchenette and a spa bath so were set. Very clean with great service. Some car...

Very helpful management and a comfortable room. Comfortable bedroom with a view across the sea. There is slight traffic noise but the double glazing handles most of that. Large lounge area in the room we occupied. Recommended for an overnight
