We booked a 2 bedroom unit for 4 adults (youngest 58). On receiving a lovely welcome on arrival, we found our unit had beautiful decor, very spacious, immaculate, all mod cons (plus eg blow drier,) 9 degrees outside we were cosy and warm. The bathroom most useful even from a disabled family member angle - fold down seat in shower....

We stayed in Masterton for a couple of days. We had our baby with us and were very lucky to have a generous room with all the facilities we needed. It was quiet and clean. It is in walking distance of restaurants and shops. We would stay here again next time we are in the area!

We booked an apartment!!! It was Ok!! A bit outdated and really need modernizing. Beds were comfortable. Table big enough for us all to sit at. Shower was drizzly -but plenty of hot water. Its motels like this that make you wonder just what you should get for your money. No milk. No desire of owner to take you to...

The motel we shared with our family was adequate but not great. It was disappointing that after a days travel there was no complimentary milk to have a cuppa on arrival. This is the first time we have experienced this.Just handing a key and pointing is hardly a welcome . No dish cloth and a faulty TV did nothing for our...

Room was quaint but dated though the beds were very comfortable. We arrived at the motel within 15 minutes of booking online and were immeditely given our keys and directed to our room without fuss. Our fan wasn't working in our room (7) which was a bummer and dishes were still a little dirty otherwise we had everything we needed...

This was an excellent value for money hotel with an interesting Highwayman theme. First the negatives, the place is a bit dated, but this time the retro feel helps with an authentic 1980s style spa and 1970s mock colonial furniture in your room is a plus still if you love stainless steel and wireless internet, this may not be your...

Looking at the photos, I wonder if we got a room that was yet to be updated ? I can only base my review on what we stayed in, which was a studio room, with a small kitchen, that truly needs an update ! The kitchen cupboards had peeling paint, the decor was old and worn, there were stains on the...

The motel was very easy to find coming in from Wellington. Our room was very clean and spacious with full oven, microwave and free Wi-Fi. Amenities such as pool looked very inviting although was too cold when we stayed. Very handy to supermarket and just a short drive into town and out to motorplex complex. Would definitely stay again.

I was a bit put off when I arrived at this motel. I said to myself it is going to be another night full of traffic noise. Then I asked the owner if I could have a room further away from the street. To my delight, there are several rooms ‘hidden’ at the back. I upgraded to one of the...
