Our stay at the resort was a great experience. I've been to Mexico a lot and you have to know that no matter where you stay there will be something you don't like. The resort and the grounds were beautiful and VERY clean. We saw staff cleaning or doing upkeep all day and even at night in the dark. The... More

We made our reservation through Funjet, which included our transportation to and from the airport. We're a family of four, ranging in age from 18-52. Be sure to check current flight rules. Just today (6/8/07), the government announced Americans no longer need passports to go to Canada or Mexico (NINE hours after we had to deal with customs! Grr). Also... More

We stayed here from May 22nd - June 5th. This is a well spaced out hotel with plenty of pools and bars for everyone. We started off in block 4 which was clean with a pleasant view but ended up changing rooms because of a barking dog at the back of the building. The aircon was quite load too in... More

Typically speaking I don't consider myself a "resort type" but my experience at RD was fantastic. When first approaching the property it doesn’t look like much. After you enter the property it becomes apparent that these people are very serious about keeping up the grounds….immaculate. The rooms were nothing special but comfortable. Be aware that you must provide your own... More

I went with my girl friend who had just graduated so she wanted a relaxing break, thats what we got. When you arrive they take your cases to your room, give you your A.I. wrist bands and smile. The food was good, especially the make your own hotdogs at midnight restuarant, but there wasn't much mexican to eat. The waiters... More

Stayed here with a friend (both 27'ish) in mid May 2007. I loved it (compared with my other 2 stays at other 4 star resorts in Cuba and the Dominican Republic). I'm a very picky eater and expected to hate the food, but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed some of the food and thought the drink selection was amazing..... More

I stayed at this hotel from May 26th- June 2nd with my mom (i'm 18), and i would return in a heartbeat. It not only met my expectations, but exeeded them. This hotel has everything I could have wanted to find. It had plenty of places to eat with a simple (but wide) variety of food, and many places to... More

I traveled there with 10 High school seniors, including my son, after graduation. They had good time but I would never take young people there again. The hotel did nothing to keep the locals out of the resort, even after I had reported that several had approched our kids to sell drugs and prostitution. The employees were not helpful or... More

We stayed at the RD the first two week of April 2006 and were so impressed that we went back the last two weeks of April 2007! We stayed in Block 3 last year and Block 4 this year.
