What a wonderful hotel. It's location on the banks of Rutland Water was great. The majority of rooms had perfect views over the water. Plenty of things to see and do, both in the grounds of the hotel or local area. The staff were both professional and helpful. Have already planned a return visit.

The location of this hotel is stunning! Overlooking Rutland Water it is truly breath taking. That said it has a LOT of timeshare apartments and flats which are obviously there to take advantage of the location. This makes the "spa" more of a leisure centre and was quite busy and full of children having swimming lessons and generally playing around....

Firstly, I must mention one particular member of the reception team....Andrew! What a lovely caring, cheerful nature he has, and made me feel so at home as soon as I arrived. I was booked in for 2 nights accommodation on the relax and unwind package. I was also told that I had been upgraded to the 'Honeymoon Room'!! What a...

stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel itself is very beautiful and although our rooms were in a separate building all the rooms are lovely. We had a balcony that overlooked Rutland waters. Can imagine in the summer sitting there with your morning brew would be amazing (i travelled in March!) We woke early on the Saturday morning for a...

My wife and I arrived on Fri 24 Mar for a spa weekend treat from our family. First impression was WOW! What a fantastic complex and facilities. Breakfast Sat morning was fantastic, a very good selection and fare on offer. Table waiting staff (Anna especially I believe)were very very attentive, nothing was too much trouble! Certainly an asset to the...

I staid here with my granddaughter who lives local, upon check in we were greeted by Claudia who told us we were unable to have the room for a couple of hours, so I asked if there was anyone who could take the luggage to the room when it was ready, to be told no one would be available!!! So...

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and upgraded to a room with a view. It was a lovely setting and plenty of space to walk in the very well maintained gardens down to Rutland Water. The only draw back was the breakfast which was a buffet kept under heated lights which made everything dried up. The spa treatments...

The staff in the restaurant made this break for us and should be commended- both at dinner and breakfast. The location is lovely and we enjoyed a great walk by the water despite the cold wind and grey skies. The room and bathroom were clean although I agree with other reviewers that the bed was only standard size and too...

We stayed for a 2 night break, with breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room (432) was very clean and had a balcony overlooking Rutland Water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, breakfast was fine, plenty of choice. We also had dinner both nights, with one night in the main restaurant, the other in the bar area. Good...
