Booked a Beachfront Cottage at this place for our anniversary in April. Paid over 4000BHT for the room per night which, in Thailand, generally gets you 4-5* quality. Not, however, at Thapwarin, which is a real mixed bag of a resort.

From Krabi Airport, you can rent taxi or van to Pakmeng Pier in Trang. It takes around 2 hours to reach the pier. Normally, the hotel can arrange the transfer for the guests as well. The private van by the resort costs... More
From Krabi Airport, you can rent taxi or van to Pakmeng Pier in Trang. It takes around 2 hours to reach the pier. Normally, the hotel can arrange the transfer for the guests as well. The private van by the resort costs THB 2,800 per way.
When you arrive Pakmeng Pier, you can also rent long tail boat to the island. it costs around 1,500 per way. If you come in high season and arrive the pier before 12.00Hrs, you might are able to catch the join boat. The join boat ticket is 350/pax/way for long tail and ferry. The join speedboat costs 450/pax/way.
Long tail boat takes 45 minutes to reach Koh Ngai.
Ferry takes 1 hour to reach Koh Ngai.
Speedboat takes 20 minutes to reach Koh Ngai.
