We have traveled Paso, Sonoma, Central Coast and Napa. We recently discovered Amador and El Dorado counties. What a gem of a discovery. We appreciate good wine and that can be had in any of those aforementioned AVAs. In those AVAs, at times you can get attitude and less than stellar service by wine attendants that pretend to know more...

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely and well appointed bed and breakfast! We travelled with a few other couples, and found this a perfect home base for wine tasting in the Amador and Fair Play area. The Inn has 4 large rooms in the main house (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs), and also a separate cottage next door. All...

We had a wonderful stay at Lucinda's Country Inn. On a quite road in a different part of California for touring Wineries. Accommodation were nice, we especially enjoyed the homemade breakfast in the morning and talking with the owners. I would definitely stay here again. Great for budget minded traveler that wants a quality room at an affordable price.

We stayed at Lucinda's for New Year's. We had the "country" suite. The room was spacious, lovely fireplace, huge double jacuzzi tub, double sinks, twin lounge chairs in front of the TV (Darryl had taped several college football games for our viewing pleasure), and the most comfortable and cozy king size bed. Lucinda and Darryl were excellent hosts, providing plenty...

WOW. What a way to start the New Year. A wonderful review does just that. Thank you. We always strive to live up to and exceed our guests expectations. It seems we met that goal. I'm glad we listened to our guests and expanded our DirecTV operations.

For more than 50 years I have been in the hospitality business, and therefore I have very high expectations, but they are not often met. Lucinda's was a very pleasant surprise. The Bed and Breakfast facility was designed perfectly to allow interactions when one wants and comfortable privacy when one wants that. All the rooms were beautifully appointed and the...

We enjoyed a day of wine tasting and then a beautiful stay at this B and B. The cottages are spacious, the large waterfall shower that looks out at the woods is amazing and the owners are very nice accommodating people. I highly recommend this B and B, particularly if you going wine tasting as many wineries are less than...

We stayed two nights here while in the area for wine tasting and visiting Apple Hill. The hosts, Daryl and Cindy were very gracious. We enjoyed a delicious home cooked breakfast both days. We stayed in the Vineyard suite and it was very roomy and comfortable.

Darrel and Lucinda are fantastic. It was our first B&B ever and we don't want to go anywhere else. From Happy Hour wine and snacks to an amazing breakfast, we couldn't have had a better time. Oh and the accommodations were above and beyond. Loved every minute. Lastly, it is just a mile down the road from some great wineries...

This was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast. My only concern is that Darrel and Lucinda spoiled us for any other Bed and Breakfast we might stay at. From their hospitality to the amazing breakfast's everything was unbelievable. Our suite was roomy and very well maintained. Our time wine tasting was wonderful. We will be booking our next...

Our suite was very roomy and clean. Comfortable bedding. Breakfast was good and lots of food. Fresh homegrown peaches with real cream. Southern style eggs benedict! There was no view, it's down in a gully. The owners were nice. The place was a little too "country cute" for our tastes but still a nice place to stay.

Thank you for the nice words. “There was no view, it's down in a gully.”, is puzzling. We are on a slope that leads down to Perry Creek, the seasonal creek that divides our property. Our view is not from the top of mountains or hills, but it is up close and personal with nature. Many guests have said they...
