The area - very pretty, quiet area. A great base for exploring with trips to Assisi and Cortona by train highly recommended. Also trips to islands and other lakeside resorts by ferry. We had pretty good weather but were conscious that there wouldn't be too much to do here if it had rained all week. The hotel - a pleasant... More

Central to the town but still in a quiet area. No complaints, air con worked fine for the 4 nights we were there. Breakfast fairly standard but nice enough. Bread, cereal, yoghurts. Lovely area, lovely people. Only problem was that there was no iron available.

This was our second week in a two centre two week holiday. The hotel is situated in a nice location - facing the Lake, minutes away from a supermarket, the railway station and the jetty for boats on the Lake. The room was of an adequate size with a working fridge and a reasonable size safe (big enough for most... More

We stopped here for one night on route to Assisi. It is overlooking the lake and has a great atmosphere . The hotel staff were lovely and the rooms adequate. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which offers inside and outside seating. We sat on the beautful terrace, the food was very good. A varied menu. The prices were... More

Although hotel a bit dated, the hotel was very nice and staff helpful and friendly.Continental breakfast was nice and opened to 10am. Air con not very good. Would stay again. Taxis in the area very few and expensive but hotel staff happy to arrange.

There is no doubt this is a good hotel in the perfect location. Just across the street from the center of town and just minutes walk from all the restaurants. I would suggest opting for the lake views, you will get the perfect sunset. Decent breakfast, friendly staff, clean.

rooms were very clean, staff were very friendly! the view to the lake was amazing! the only issue: it was very very noisy, that weekend the hotel was packed, you can hear next door guests very well from every side in the room. we were waken up early every morning because of the noise.

This is a decent enough hotel, however be warned that during our stay, the Wi-Fi never worked in our room. In addition we were forced to park our car in the street some distance from the hotel as there were insufficient parking spaces for the guests. The quality of the breakfast was questionable.

This was our 2nd time @ The Lido, and We will continue to stay here every time we are in Italy. The location is perfect for day trips around the Umbria area. Rooms are comfortable & views from our room are great. Staff was helpful, breakfast was very nice.
