From the moment we arrived at Chalet Le Palane, Richard and Xavier made us feel welcome. More than welcome. We were large family group consisting of 7 young children and 4 adults, but nothing was too much trouble for them. Taking everything in their stride they dropped and fetched, booked restaurants, gave invaluable advice, fixed sore knees, hauled out sleds...

We had a wonderful week skiing in Les Carroz, and were made to feel so welcome at Chalet Le Palane by Xavier and Richard. We were 2 families, with 7 kids in total. Richard and Xavier were great at helping us book ski gear, lockers hire and lessons before we arrived, as well as taking on some dietary requirements. They...

On behalf of a group of 13 South Africans - I can truly say we were blown away by our host's Xavier & Richard. The lovely cosy Chalet was perfect for all eleven of us, quite spacious and immaculate. The food was plenty and scrumptious!!! The fire was...

We returned here this year for another group trip after I had rather stumbled (fortuitously) across this place by chance last year which we had all enjoyed. It was good to see how popular and how booked up throughout the season the place had become which is just reward to Richard and Xavier for the extraordinary effort, care and attention...

This was my first time staying with Richard and Xavier and it won't be the last. The chalet itself was good but it is their excellent hospitality that earns five stars. Richard and Xavier couldn't have been more helpful; really top class hosts.

Second time with Xavier and Richie who yet again made my stay a great and memorable one. Most attentive hosts who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. I stayed in a room on the second floor this time around. The room was spacious with a fabulous view, sparkly clean with very comfy bed...

We have rarely if ever been so well looked after on a holiday. Richard and Xavier are the consummate hosts, warm and friendly, great with our baby and very accommodating. The food was delicious and the chalet, warm and comfortable, with lots of lovely touches such as bathrobes and slippers, piste maps and chocolates!
