We spent a great week in Les Creolines with the brilliant hospitality provided by Dominique. The self-contained apartment was clean and comfortable with an outdoor kitchenette/dining area. There is a great pool for cooling off, and the wi-fi was very good. It is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach (and the lovely coastal walk), 10-15 minute walk to the small town of Sainte-Luce, and its very close to a few nearby restaurants. Highly recommended.
We stayed at Les Creolines for ten days in March. It is located in Saint Luce, about 250 yards from the beach. It is a small French style hotel with all the basics: pool, well equipped kitchen and, most important a wonderful manager. Nicola and his wife Dominique are charming, gracious and wonderfully helpful. The hotel does not have a restaurant or maid service but that is as advertised and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We ate our breakfast on the porch, our lunches out while at the beach or exploring and every other evening we prepared our own meals. We were the only native English speakers but it was never a problem as Nicola is quite fluent.
We visited Martinique for 11 nights over Easter and stayed at Les Creolines. As we'd rented one his hire cars, Nicola collected us from the airport on arrival and took us to the hotel. As two adults and two children the two interconnecting studios, each with bathroom, TV, air con and balcony with kitchen, table and chairs were perfect, clean and well equipped. The boys enjoyed the garden and pool and found plenty to do checking out the wildlife, playing with the pets etc. Nicola and Dominique were around most of the time and very helpful in giving advice on trips, restaurants, sights etc. They also arranged Easter eggs for all the children (and rum for the parents) on Easter Sunday. As well as the pool we enjoyed Gros Raisin beach which was less than 5 minutes walk away and snorkelling at Anse Figuier, a 5 minute drive further on. The centre of Sainte Luce was a 10-15 minute walk away and we visited several times to go to the waterfront restaurants and pick up bread and pastries from the boulangeries. We found Les Creolines to have a great mix of accommodation, facilities and location and cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely visit again!…
We stayed 9 days. Everything was perfect. Close to the beach, nice surroundings. Good location. Nice pool, lovely owner. We rented a car from the hotel, and owner picked us back and forth from the airport.
The town is beautiful and the hotel is not far from the beach. The room is very small with very basic furniture and linens. No phone in the room, limited front desk hours, no assistance to book tours, no room service. There are no activities for children except the pool. The hotel description is not accurate, since it is not really a hotel.
