Hôtel Spa Iloma is celebrated for its immaculate condition and serene atmosphere, with guests frequently lauding the clean rooms and stunning seaside views. While the pools and vistas earn praise, some guests feel the amenities fall short, particularly regarding breakfast and noise. Travelers seeking tranquility appreciate the peaceful room ambiance, but a few have reported issues with room features. Although the staff is generally recognized for their attentiveness, the hotel's value is questioned by many, who cite high costs for the experience received.

Large comfortable family room with sublime views of the bay and diamond.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant very good, pity it is not open every day. The small beach Mabouya is a postcard where swimming is quiet.

We stayed in a very nice large room with a balcony facing the ocean and a bathtub in the middle of the huge bathroom. The staff were super friendly. There were two nice pools and a spa. The restaurant had good food and happy hour at the sunset with a great view over the ocean and the Diamond rock. The nearest beach was not the best, but there are many great beaches not so far away if you have a car. Do not miss to visit the local rum distillery!
In conclusion we had a great stay!

Unfortunately, we are disappointed with this hotel. We had a deluxe room with sea view, so far ok if you often look over something. The sea view over palm trees, the bathroom with broken sinks, a cold shower, housekeeping could also be better.
Breakfast for 15 euros per person is measly. The baguette pieces got smaller day by day, the croissants too.
Then we had the misfortune that a larger group celebrated over several days in the hotel, it started in the morning and ended towards evening. A horror for those seeking peace.
The nearby beach is not pretty. Beaches in the area so la la....we have seen more beautiful beaches than here on Martinique or Guadeloupe. On the whole, we are disappointed and will never go on holiday here again. Lots of money for little service.
The location of the hotel is also disappointing. You have no way to reach anything on foot, let alone a restaurant. You have to rely on the car, but you still can't find reasonable restaurants.
The choice in the restaurant is not very large, but the quality is good.

We rented the apartment Diamant. The view is superb. The proximity to Mabouya Cove is great. The apartment was very clean. The service was courteous.

However the apartment is located above a gym (which is not listed in the description). People in the gym used chains for training and it was as loud as thunder. We complained but the sound came back several times. The staff told us that only the owner could do something... We have to know how to delegate the responsibilities I think, especially when we are not on site... The Italian shower is not working. We were told that the drain was too small for its flow so we had to shower at the shower that we had to drop to soap ourselves. That too is not mentioned in the ad. Also, the apartment has a kitchenette. The kitchen instruments found are very rudimentary (no grater, 1 sharp knives, no measuring cup, no whip etc). It really deserves improvement. On the restaurant side, we went there one night. When we arrived, people sitting at the bar stood up and started repairs as the restaurant opened. A woman passed the broom while a man sawed and another walked around with a wheelbarrow...! We laughed about it but it’s still bullshit. We took a rib that was not tender at all. Very disappointing for the price and atmosphere...

In short, knowing the cost of the apartment, one would have expected not to hear a gym below us and that the shower and kitchen would be functional and at the limit be informed without waiting to make these discoveries ourselves when these are known problems.

Here's what to say. I arrived in the afternoon and to my amazement at the reception they only spoke French. Well, English is still unknown here. I try to make myself understood and I arrive at my room accompanied by a girl who kept smiling but didn't understand anything. And here it shows me bar restaurant swimming pool etc. To my question in English "does the restaurant need a reservation for dinner" he smiles again and says no. He also tells me in French that the kitchen opens at 8pm and closes at 10pm.
Here I am at 8pm I show up and a very busy gentleman tells me no no no no reservations no the restaurant is full 🙆🤦 here this is the only restaurant in the area and even though I am a customer of the hotel hello maybe you will eat tomorrow.
No comment. They just deserve no one to come there anymore. But what did it cost them for a room reservation to ask you if you also wanted dinner!!!! Too difficult for the French, never again.

All staff pleasant, welcoming, very friendly.
Good meal at the restaurant (very tasty).
The only downside was that there was no clothes rack to hang out the laundry in the studio.
The breakfasts are good but the space is a little narrow to help yourself because there are a lot of people from 7 a.m.

We had a relaxing stay in this quiet and peaceful hotel. We enjoyed the magnificent view from our room offering incredible sunsets. Breakfast was simple but suitable for the price.
Room with kitchenette very convenient for long stays. Only small downside we did not have much network in the room and the wifi connection was not optimal.
Nevertheless we will return with great pleasure in this beautiful setting.

I actually have my stay with my baby of 1 year everything was ready in the room for her. Nice view from restaurant, high chair available. Children's area to play too.
But disappointed by the breakfast already by the time slot 7h 9h not allowing to make fat morning and by the variety of products for 15th can do better! No wifi during my 3 nights!!
I recommend the staff was kind and the deluxe room was fine.

Instead of sea views we look at rooftops and palm trees and only at the very corner is the promised sea view in the very small room without balcony. We had to wait several times long the beach nearby is not as great as in the pictures and nearby there are except residential houses and nothing. From the pictures on the internet under description we expected more a gym there is not, it is just an empty room and there external courses can be booked at additional cost. Other rooms may be better.

Is there snorkeling on your beach?

There are beaches within walking distance from the hotel but there is no surf. I am unaware of beaches with surf on Martinique, there may be some but we did not see waves big enough to surf on the 3 beaches we were at.You definitely need a car on the island though.

Answer from Restaurant K
Dear Miss, There are no kayaks at the beach called Mabouya (at 200 meters from the hotel). But you'll find some kayaks at the beach called Pont Kafé at 2 kilometers. Remaining at your disposal, Sunny greetings, JULIE
