Great location, friendly people and loved the room. Our family enjoyed the stay and the staff where very helpful. The rooms where extremely clean and comfortable. They notified us of local tourist sites, restaurant and provided directions. Our son forgot his wallet and they mailed it to us! They definitely went above expectations and my son was very happy!

Having tried to find accommodation in and around the area unsuccessfully. We stopped in here for dinner and asked if they had any vacancies. Although they had none when asked if she knew of any she said leave it with her and she would try to find something for us, which she did while we had dinner in the hotel....

There's no doubt about it, it has the potential of being excellent. The room was very clean and well furnished and the bed was comfortable. The biggest issue for me was that the bathroom was far too hot and the service too slow - I'm not demanding of super fast service but it was truly awful and only because there...

Meal was good with great food. Let down by one rude waitress who slammed drinks and food on table. On taking drinks order without writing it down, managed to completely provide wrong drinks compared to what was ordered. A smile would have been nice so we didn't feel in the way. However the other waitress/manageress could not have been more...

Stayed 3 nights in the Aberlour hotel. We are 4 men who have made a visit to this part of the world once every couple of years and before have been staying in nearby Dufftown but after our last experience there in 2013 decided to give this hotel a try. The positives: Staff friendly and welcoming, rooms clean, newly and...

This refurbished hotel had the chance of being the place to go in Aberlour but they seem to have got it all wrong. The bar is always much quieter than other pubs and often there is no barman! Selection of whisky poor compared with others. Bar and dining room menu uninspired. Burger/ chicken/ fish n chips wow ,not surprised few...

My expectations - after consultation of the website - were truly exceeded. The building may look blunt from the outside (but blending in well in in this main street village), however the recent renovation inside turned out fine. Friendly welcome, light colours in public rooms, staircases and bedrooms. Staying in a small single, but with all the amenities one can...

What a lovely hotel - I was incredibly impressed. Spacious newly refurbished rooms, stylishly decorated, superking bed and lovely linens and soft furnishings. The bathroom was stunning, with a huge shower. Absolutely everything you could need. We dined in the restaurant, that was lovely, great service and a hearty Scottish breakfast in the morning. All in all we had a...
