We had a good two night stay here recently. Whilst the service was excellent, the room itself had a really dingy bathroom that was in desperate need of work. Black mould, cracks in the walls and old taps, as well as grouting pushed in by fingers all gave it a poor feel. The bedroom however was fine, the bed was...

We had pre-booked this hotel via booking.com. Very friendly welcome. We were on the top floor which was a bit of a trek if you jabs a lot of luggage. Our daughter was with us and I had pre booked her also. Unfortunately they hadn't left any bedding for her. Luckily the bed was massive so she slept beside us....

Enjoyed A steak meal for two and a bottle of Hardy's rose wine along with two tonics for £23. Amazing value food was well cooked just as we had asked, the service was excellent arriving just after 6 o clock we were leaving for just before seven. Apparently this is available Monday to Thursday every week. They also have an inventive...

Been here several times as it's pretty local. Also had a small bed and breakfast attached. Lovely family pub & friendly staff. Lots of tables so always manage to find a seat. Service is quick. There's no play area for children but it does have a children's menu. I do feel that at times the food can be average, then...

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip as my usual hotel was full. Whilst my single room was quite small it had everything I needed, even a hair dryer which as a bald bloke I didn't need. The room was clean and there was an ample supply of tea and coffee. My room was in the annex. Which...

Stayed there Friday night 1st April 2017. Rooms were in need of updating but lovely big bed and all requirements met. Staff were very friendly and welcoming with an adequate breakfast provided. Paid £65 for double room in annexe and would say it offered reasonable value .

A few of us visited for a belated birthday lunch. It looked welcoming inside, comfy and although quiet seemed perfect for our catch up lunch. First we ordered some drinks, the birthday girls wine was very dry when she clearly asked for sweet which fair enough could've been an easy mistake but it seemed to go down hill from there....

16 of us booked a table for Sunday lunch. Although this is a Marston pub we were disappointed to discover that 2 for 1 did not apply on a Sunday although in every other pub I have been to in the chain it does apply. I chose the gammon steak which was much saltier than it need have been. Some...

My family and I stayed here 2 weeks ago after a family gathering. We were given two large rooms at the top of the old house 3rd floor. We were welcomed by both a member of staff and the manager stating if we needed anything let him know. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the children enjoyed staying. There...

Food in pub was ok, no better. Breakfast, very average. Room was dirty, months of dust/ dirt all around the skirting near bed head. Bed was really old/ uncomfortable. Yes it was cheap but not cheap enough!!
