The motel is close to the park Algonquin, so if you want to have an early start in the park, it is a good choice. The motel room was rather small, but fairly new. They don't serve breakfast, but there are facilities nearby.

I read the reviews on TripAdvisor and was somewhat concerned about staying at this motel. Check in was easy and staff very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Some finishing touches still required, but I truly enjoyed my stay. After a long day of hiking it was all I needed to enjoy a relaxing evening.

With fall upon us, I was eager to enjoy the colours at Algonquin Park. I had heard the East side was less busy and came across this nearby motel. It’s just ~10 mins from the entrance. It’s the newest motel in the area. My wife and I stayed in Room #5 which has a unique layout with the bath in...

My wife and I stayed here, along with another couple, in rooms 7 & 8, the 2nd weekend in September. Check-in was fine and the rooms are nice. What we noticed right away was the attitude. They have a fire pit out back but expect their guests to split the wood for it. They also have 3 small barbecues but...

We are the premier affordable facility in the area. These customers are absolutely ridiculous. They came here and were singing our praises for what a lovely place we have here, telling us how there all ready planning to return to try our bed and breakfast next when we got notice that there was a problem with the main hydro lines...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe room. We were mostly happy with our stay. Our room had some fancy features others might enjoy, but we did not use, like a jacuzzi tub and a gas fireplace. PROS Close to the park, clean, comfy bed, quiet, nice view of woods behind room (we were in the...

We stayed Aug 5-7 2016 my husband and I and our teenage son after camping in Algonquin park. the pros first: Nice decor in room, friendly owner from kitchener, use of bbqs and fire pit with free wood. We stayed in room 2. The room is pretty small. There are no windows (unless you count the door and screen door). There are two small twin beds and 2 camping chairs. The room has a coffee pot, fridge/freezer (which works well), a microwave, and an air conditioner. The air conditioner works, but it is very loud. When watching TV,...

We had two rooms that were as far away from each other as possible, which made it difficult for a family of five. The rooms were designed poorly as neither of the doors on the rooms would open completely so it was super difficult to bring your luggage in and out of the room. Also one room was impossible small...

Nice landscaping done on property. Grass area for kids or adults to play. Patio door looks into woods. Room small but that's all you need.Poor workmanship in room some ceiling work needs to be finished pot light has hole no light. Fan in washroom not hooked up. Better design planning could easily change room for a area to store luggage...
