This is an excellent B&B homestay and we were extremely glad we spent a night here (could have spent more!). We stayed in the spacious mountain room at the front of the property with dramatic views over the opposite side of the valley. Renée and Geoff are very friendly hosts, and we had some really interesting conversation with them. Their...

We hope we see you both back here again one day! Perhaps you can try the Beef Casserole next time, although the roast chicken is very good. I am glad you enjoyed the homemade Muesli, we've just started making it for guests and it's proving popular. Healthy food is a good thing but it's even better when it tastes amazing....

This is the only B&B in Arthur's Pass, but if there were 20 more we would still come here. Renee is a great cook and hostess. You'll have a comfortable bed, a wonderful breakfast, a clean room, and a variety of hiking trails in the area that can be accessed by walking right out the front door.

After three nights at our place I really missed you both when I came home from work and there was no-one here. You were the most wonderful guests, you made my job easy! Wishing you both all the best xx

We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it to everyone especially the delicious food. Renee was a fantastic host who made us feel very welcome. The BnB was very clean and everything was to a high standard. If you have had a hard days hike, we recommend treating yourself with her steamed pudding, delicious! Looking forward to coming...

I hope the Steamed pudding was sufficient compensation for missing out on Avalanche Peak ;-) You two were fun to have around, hope we see you both again. Thanks for a lovely review.

My family of four were treated to a warm stay for our first night in New Zealand. Renee was a wonderful host, filling us with a fabulous dinner upon arrival. We had comfortable beds and woke up to a beautiful mountain view. Breakfast with Renee capped our stay. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights during some rather wet and wintery weather. What a pleasure to walk in and find a roaring fire in an old-fashioned black stove, thus a very cozy and warm lounge-dining area. This same hot black stove/heater serves as food-warmer (the stove top) (felt like grandma's place) and dried our wet boots which were sprawled out...

The connoisseurs choice of where to stay in Arthurs Pass National Park - Geoff & Renee welcome you to share their comfortable home with them & also their extensive knowledge of the area & South Island as a whole. Supper was delicious (& my special requests accommodated) then the Scrambled Eggs with Salmon & Spinach & a touch of Harissa...

We stayed here after a day of walking in the region and were first welcomed with a pot of tea! After a couple of months away from home this was heaven! The room we had was nice and spacious and we were encouraged to use the lounge and browse a big book collection! We had a special breakfast cooked by...

We're so glad you enjoyed the special French breakfast. I don't think we can compete with genuine french made crepes, better stick to to our pancakes! Thank you for coming to stay. Cheers, Renee and Geoff

I had a great stay with Renee and Geoff in early March. I had not realized it, but I had paid for 2, but it was just me and Renee pointed that out to me. Such a pleasure to deal with friendly, helpful and honest people. I had wonderful supper with the hosts and their 'woofers', who were fun. The...

During our 16 days trip in South Island, we stayed at 3 B&B's. The first two were so bad that my husband kept asking me if I could cancel my reservation at the last B&B especially it's the last night we would spend in NZ before flying home. I didn't even try to do so because it's a commitment I...

After a tiring Heaphy trek with our little baby, we really felt pampered and welcomed in this beautiful, cosy B&B with splendid hosts. We received a wealth of information about trekking in NZ, great breakfast that helped us all the way up to Avalanche Peak and a bed and shower that were the most comfortable thus far on our trip...
