After a long day's drive, the lodge was most welcome. it had comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and a communal kitchen. The kitchen could be a little busy at times but the fellow travelers were all friendly and cooperative. The hotel has a pub with music in the evenings. A short drive will get you to the hiking trail to...

Kitchen facilities were basic and definitely lacking in some utensils. The bathroom light in our room wasn't working when we arrived and the...

We LOVED staying here! We rented one of the self-contained units, and we really liked having our own kitchen, especially since there aren't many places to eat in Mt. Cook Village. This was one of our favorite places to stay of the entire trip.

We stayed in the Motel Family Deluxe at the national park. We were glad that we chose that instead of some of the other accommodations at the park. It would be good for a family as there was a separate bedroom with twin beds. Laundry was available in another unit in our building. The view from our back patio was...

We stayed in the chalets and i have to admit it was one of the best stay during our whole trip. The view from the chalet of the mt cook mountain ranges is absolutely breathtaking. The rooms themselves are well maintained with all the necessary amenities for the stay. It is a small walk to the restaurant at the hermitage....

Very very dated Motel and in need of a revamp - but saying that everything was in working order. You do have to pay for wifi if required, which was $5 per device. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Book early to ensure you get value for money
