What a wonderful location right on the end of the peninsula with stunning sea views. From the breakfast area we saw a whale and whilst walking along the beach towards the lighthouse we came across a family of seals. Walk in the opposite direction and there is a very long sweeping beach with white sands and crystal clear waters. The...

We spent 3 days here in this beautiful setting by the sea. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. There is an honor bar if you'd like a cocktail while you watch the sunset from the patio. The hospitality shown by Sue and Luk was par excellence!

Thank you to Sue and Luc for their discreet professionalism. The room (and particularly the view of the beach and sea) were beautiful. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the sea was so relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, and freshly cooked to order. We were made to feel at home straight away, and given every assistance...

The most tranquil three days I can recall. Ocean views, excellent breakfasts, splendid bedroom and very welcoming hosts. Bedrooms serviced during breakfast. The Lodge is surrounded by a very quiet gated estate. We will certainly go here again driving from Cape Town (about two hours on R27).

The Oystercatcher Lodge is the best managed place that I have ever stayed, better than five stars! Luc and Sue provided a personal touch that made our stay memorable. The rooms are immaculate, clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread is amazing and every breakfast dish is freshly made to order, not a chafing dish in sight! Thank you once again...

This lodge is the best escape from city life. It is near restaurants and other attractions, but I just wanted to stay and take the tranquility in. The breakfast was really good with enough variety. The owners have created a little piece of heaven. It is also safe as it is situated within the security estate.
