Bungalows Solecito is a special place - far from the maddening crowds on Mexican resort beaches. No jet ski noise, no high rise hotels, no "been seen" crowd - Mexico the way it used to be - and is - at this gem of a hotel. Wonderful, helpful on-site owners (Blanca speaks perfect English too), comfortable rooms or bungalows surrounded...

Solecito is a very tranquil place within a palm grove, the grounds are well kept, and the sound of the breaking waves makes for a relaxing atmosphere. It serves a nice variety of breakfast options, as well as occasional dinners. The owners, Blanca and Manuel, are wonderful hosts and take the time to sit down and chat with their guests....

This is a charming and oh so lovely place to stay on this beautiful beach. The accommodations are beautiful and allow for privacy with opportunities to meet others. Everything is tasteful and we always feel so well taken care of by the hosts and staff We have been visiting this beach for many years and love the amazing beauty, uncrowded...

Bungalow: We stayed in a two-story bungalow which was extremely nice; the bottom portion had a kitchen, sink, and fridge, as well as bathroom and bedroom. The upstairs portion had a small living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Everything functioned great. Also, outside of our bungalow we had a porch with a table, chair, and hammock. Complex: The actual Solecito Bungalow...

We had a completely wonderful experience at Bungalows Solecito. Blanca and Manuel are the best hosts imaginable, immediately making you feel like friends and family. They will help you with everything from taxi rides to picking up snacks for your bungalow. The bungalows are immaculately maintained and well equipped, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. For us spoiled...

We stumbled across Bungalows Solecito via the recommendation of a friend. It was a real find - and hard to believe that such an incredibly beautiful stretch of coast has so little commercial development, especially since it's only 15 mins from Zihuanatejo airport (don't worry, no noise disturbance from planes). We were there the last week of May; the weather...

We have stayed at Bungalows Solecito numerous times and cannot say enough about the property and the owners/managers Blanca and Manuel. The bungalows are traditional adobe style with simple but elegant furnishings. All bungalows face the ocean and come equipped with a full kitchen for those who like to self-cater. There is a supply of coffee upon arrival and a...

We stayed beach-side for eight nights in November, 2015, and enjoyed every one of them. Solecito is a great place--a well appointed, beautifully designed and landscaped oasis right on the beach. We spent a tranquilly quiet week with our friends, swimming in the just right there ocean and the bungalow's beautiful pool. We cooked some nights and enjoyed the onsite...

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary there in March and just loved it. Felt like paradise. The view outside our Bungalow was gorgeous. Beautiful beach, lovely walks into "town" and food was delicious. We would wake up, and take a swim in the ocean, followed by a walk on the beach. Sip coffee in a beach chair and just watch the...

“There are 2 bungalows right on the beach and maybe 6 more scattered around a lush garden. Most of the garden bungalows have a view of the ocean however Bungalow #5 where I stayed was just steps from the Pacific…divine!”
  • The hammock of our Bungalow #5 was my first stop upon arrival!
  • From the veranda of our Bungalow #5 I viewed our last of 7 gorgeous sunsets!

“Some people prefer the 2 bungalows right on the ocean. We prefer the bungalows just behind - so we also have a view of the gardens.”
