Bungalow: We stayed in a two-story bungalow which was extremely nice; the bottom portion had a kitchen, sink, and fridge, as well as bathroom and bedroom. The upstairs portion had a small living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Everything functioned great. Also, outside of our bungalow we had a porch with a table, chair, and hammock. Complex: The actual Solecito Bungalow...

We had a completely wonderful experience at Bungalows Solecito. Blanca and Manuel are the best hosts imaginable, immediately making you feel like friends and family. They will help you with everything from taxi rides to picking up snacks for your bungalow. The bungalows are immaculately maintained and well equipped, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. For us spoiled...

We stumbled across Bungalows Solecito via the recommendation of a friend. It was a real find - and hard to believe that such an incredibly beautiful stretch of coast has so little commercial development, especially since it's only 15 mins from Zihuanatejo airport (don't worry, no noise disturbance from planes). We were there the last week of May; the weather...

We have stayed at Bungalows Solecito numerous times and cannot say enough about the property and the owners/managers Blanca and Manuel. The bungalows are traditional adobe style with simple but elegant furnishings. All bungalows face the ocean and come equipped with a full kitchen for those who like to self-cater. There is a supply of coffee upon arrival and a...

We stayed beach-side for eight nights in November, 2015, and enjoyed every one of them. Solecito is a great place--a well appointed, beautifully designed and landscaped oasis right on the beach. We spent a tranquilly quiet week with our friends, swimming in the just right there ocean and the bungalow's beautiful pool. We cooked some nights and enjoyed the onsite...

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary there in March and just loved it. Felt like paradise. The view outside our Bungalow was gorgeous. Beautiful beach, lovely walks into "town" and food was delicious. We would wake up, and take a swim in the ocean, followed by a walk on the beach. Sip coffee in a beach chair and just watch the...

My wife and I met another couple here. While we stayed only 5 nights - wish we would have stayed much longer! We travel a good bit and have never enjoyed this much personal, local hospitality. If you want to step away from the concrete, traffic and shopping malls, Bungalows Solecito is the perfect lost gem. Beautifully landscaped, coconut trees...

A true find in Mexico, much like Cabo San Lucas was 30 years ago. The bungalow was very spacious, well appointed, and everything worked. Although the bungalow was not air conditioned, we never needed it as the evening temps were perfect (Dec 7 - 14). The food was very good and beautifully served in the dining area. As others have...

The last of 7 sunsets, one more spectacular than the next! Barra de Potosi, Mexico, is a tiny, true working fishing village, 35 minutes south and an entire world away from busy ultra glam Ixtapa, Mexico…. here in Barra de Potosi, there is only tranquility, stunning birds, isolation and 15 miles of uninhabited Playa Blanca!!! Not a place for people...

Solecito has been our neighbour for over 10 years. We have sent many friends and family to stay in the bungalows at this lovely boutique hotel many many times, and we frequent their lovely and delicious restaurant often. This year we held a very special celebratory party around the pool at Solecito - and it was over the top perfect....
