The hotel was absolutely perfect, it was spotlessly clean, every morning at 8:00 am an army of cleaners would descend on the hotel cleaning it from top to bottom, even the pool surround was washed every day,,,well done, The staff were all but 1 very helpfull and would do anything you asked of them. The bar staff were very good and willing to chat about anything. Reception staff were also very accomodating, we had a problem opening our safe in the room and within 20 minutes they had arranged for the maintenance man to fit a new one.
The only problem we had all week was that the food was NOT hot, we were half board and the choice of food was good but the temperature of it was poor.
Great location and brilliant rooms...excellent holiday....Thanks.

Recently stayed for one week .This place is beautiful and absolutely immaculately clean everywhere.
The rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh pure white towels changed daily, beds very comfortable and rooms tastefully furnished .
Breakfast was great with a large variety of choice and all nice quality .
On-site bar was good and played nice variation of music .
All staff no matter who were polite and smiling .
A special mention to Louiza in resturant who is the most friendly and lovely lady , and also Ajaks???he was always smiling and happy .
All of the staff work hard here and it shows .

Hope to return again one day .

So we arrived very late in the evening and the gent on the desk was very friendly and helpful. We were allocated a room on the top floor as requested and we were very satisfied. They're was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room (which we didn't realise when booked) but you could get these from the bar and take to the room. We were happy with the view of the mountains on our balcony - room 318.

You can have the option to have your room cleaned as often as you'd like, daily, every other day etc.

Throughout the week the reception staff were very helpful when we needed to know things regarding day trips out.

The only thing I want to fault is the breakfast really, we stayed B&B and found the buffet food quite cold and didn't taste the best. Strange bacon and not normal sausages (sorry not being picky just making you aware when you arrive) We lived on the pastries and toast for rest of the week haha although I've not been to a hotel that does a bowl of melted chocolate to use to put with anything so the croissants and toast were suffice enough. Just a shame the buffet breakfast wasn't brilliant. Fruit, cheeses juices plenty of.

Overall I would stay here again as it was a friendly and clean hotel and literally only 2 minutes from the beach which we spent most of our sunbathing time at.

A lovely, clean, friendly hotel in a superb location for many restaurants, bars and shops. Very close to the beach where you can get beds or a boat across to Perissa Beach for a change of scenery. Buses to Fira and across the island are easy and close by too and the reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful providing all of the info for us to get around.
The hotel offer a good breakfast with a variety of hot and cold options and also pool towels for a small, refundable deposit. The room was clean and a nice size with balconies/terraces overlooking the pool. Handy if it’s busy and you need to nab a sunbed, as we did find people put their towels out early and then head out for the morning. All in all we had a nice relaxing stay here though.

This resort is very close to the airport so does have some low flying aircraft noise, but it did not affect our stay as they are pretty infrequent. (We are used to London airports)

This was a lovely hotel in a central location, a short distance from the beach and a multitude of restaurants. We had a suite which also included a seating area with two settees. It was very modern and clean. Only disappointment, was there was no kettle, because I do love a cup of tea and also as I have back problems there is often a need to fill a hot water bottle. Thankfully it was a good week with regards to back pain, otherwise that would have been an issue. There was a good sized balcony overlooking the pool area which was really nice. No trouble getting a sun bed each morning and breakfast was included, with a great choice on offer and the best cappuccino coffee from a machine and roasting hot ( wish other machines were as good). All staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent shower facilities available if having a late fight home. Toiletries and Fluffy towels provided as well, which saves you having to keep a room on. You can get beach towels for a small deposit which is returned at the end of the holiday. Would certainly return to this hotel if coming back to Santorini, which is highly likely as it is a lovely island. We visited Fari and Oia and although beautiful, we were glad we chose Karami, as better value and not as busy. We never found the planes that flew overhead a problem, in fact we quite enjoyed them and they were not too loud. A great choice of restaurants down at the beach and surrounding area and prices were on par with back home.

A stunning traditional greek hotel, great rooms, great pool areas, a beautiful bar area and spotlessly clean both day and night.
We arrived for a 7 night stay in Kamari and were greeted by a lovely receptionist, who could not have been more helpful regarding information on the hotel and throughout the stay offering information on taxi's etc and getting these organised. We were showed to our room, poolside room (which we didn't book) so this was a lovely surprise. The rooms were on the smaller side, however were always spotless, beds extremely comfy, lots of storage space and beautiful bathroom with a huge shower. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which would probably expect from a high rated hotel.
The pool areas were extremely crowded, a lot of wedding parties, therefore most sunbeams and areas around the pool were taken by those guests by 7/8am. We chose to go down tot he each most Fays due to this, however others who prefer pool areas instead of a beach may not appreciate the noise. This wasn't something which necessarily bothered us. The planes fly low over the hotel which we enjoyed watching and listening to, this is advertised on the hotel so do not recommend if the noise would bother you.
The breakfast buffet was great, lots of options available, huge variety of breads, cheeses, meats, hot food, fruit, yoghurts and different cereals. The buffet was always clean and the outside area was just beautiful. One of the ladies Deena (I think), seemed to be working all day and all night, always had a smile on her face and was super polite! defiantly deserved a special mention.
The pool bar area as always busy by groups of guests, however the couple of drinks we had in this area were lovely.
The location of the hotel was also perfect ! a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk at the front which is lined with loads of restraunt's and bars ! spoilt for choice. everyone is so polite in Kamari and we would defiantly return to this resort.
The local busses are so easy to use to travel to Fira and perissa and the little water boat which travels to and from perissa each day is always a really good adventure, only 15/20 minutes and super cheap.
We had a later flight coming home, so enquired about keeping he room for showers etc which he receptionist was super helpful daw as able to sort this for us, this was great for an afternoon flight home! defiantly worth an ask fi this is your situation.

We stayed here for 4 nights on honeymoon and it is the perfect location for exploring Santorini.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and we got access to our room after a short wait. The room was large and spacious with a fridge and a cute balcony. The weather was never really warm enough for sunbathing and as the pools are not heated, we didn't spend much time lying out. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the strip and there's a wide variety of restaurants and bars there. The breakfast buffet wasn't great, had the basics to get you started
If you stay in this hotel, I would highly recommend getting a car, we rented from across the road beside the shop. While the strip and beach are nice areas, there are so many scenic towns and villages to explore with out of this world views.

What you always imagined...

This hotel fits right in with what I always imagined Greece would look like. Large white buildings right by the ocean. This property is not oceanfront but from the rooms, some of the rooms you might be able to see an ocean view. It’s just walking distance from the beach (the black sand beach). If you walk down to the beach they’ll be several different restaurants and lots of shops. You won’t have a hard time finding anything delicious to eat.

Our hotel room was huge with a large bathroom. A big open shower and lots of counter room. There was a fridge, a whole kitchen up with a stove in the room. It’s also a desk and a couch. We had lots of room and a large balcony. On top of being really happy with our room, I was very impressed with the staff. Every staff member was superb and went out of their way to help us! I really loved them ALL! They were all so helpful and friendly!

This is a solid choice if you’re going to be visiting Santorini. You can’t go wrong!

Amazing hotel! Could not complain about one thing. Staff were exceptional especially penny and the pool bar staff. Hotel is beautiful inside and out. Cleaners were amazing at their jobs always came back in the room to a spotless room. The rooms are beautiful and very Greek, we were shocked at how stunning our room was when we first arrived.People complaining on here about towels being put out by the public, however we would come out at 8:30am and there would be plenty. Maybe you should have woken up earlier!! Breakfast in the buffet was very tasty and a lot of selection even if you’re a fussy eater! The food for lunch that you order is so fresh annd so tasty, we would order nearly every day and couldn’t get enough. Also if you have a late flight they accommodate you with showers near reception which include towels, shampoo and anything else you need. Could not have chosen a better place to stay in Kamari will be recommending to anyone staying in santorini!

We are currently staying at this hotel with a travel group and are disappointed we are staying here. It is definitely for families and not directed for couples or adult groups. While others tell us their rooms are more spacious, our room is small, with only a queen bed smaller than the one we sleep in at home, and a very small bathroom. The planes landing at the nearby airport went over at low altitude every 10-15 minutes last night which were very loud, and we have a crying baby next door we can hear through the walls. The food in the restaurant here was buffet style and geared toward children (they were serving chicken nuggets?!). My husband ordered a beer at the bar and it was served in a plastic throwaway cup. There is trash in the yard outside our door - not a good view we expected for Santorini! This area is NOT what we expected after our last visit to Santorini. I’d suggest you stay perhaps in Fira or Oia if you want a nicer area because this is more for family budget minded travelers.
