Very nice stay of 5 days. Very kind and helpful personnel made the holiday relaxing. We used the red level option which gives access to a lounge and an additional swimming pool. While the pool is separate and quiet, the lounge is not really as all guests seem to go in and out (except for breakfast, but the regular breakfast buffet is much bigger than the red level one). We enjoyed the lounge as it is easy to go for a drink or a quick bite. The white sand beach is nearby and is well equipped. Good restaurants but make sure to reserve a table.

We’re just coming to the end of our stay here at Gran Melia Sancti Petri & I can highly recommend this beautiful hotel. The rooms are lovely with extra large beds, crisp white linens, waterfall shower, twin sinks in the marble bathroom, safe, complimentary filtered water that’s replenished daily, nightly turn down service with chocolates & slippers. We had a golf/sea view room offering wonderful views from the balcony.
The pool is enormous with plenty of very comfortable sun loungers positioned around the edge. There was no trouble whatsoever getting a lounger as they very sensibly don’t allow you to reserve them in advance & you can’t get pool towels until 10am so most people are up & ready for the day by then anyway.
The pool is just steps away from the stunning Barrossa Beach with its endless stretch of soft white sand & lots of beach cafes for lunches. The hotel has its own beach club plus many loungers/shades/Bali beds that are exclusive to hotel guests.
The two a la carte restaurants are top end, one being a Michelin star restaurant & the menu prices reflect this! However, we chose to eat in the buffet at a reasonable cost & the food was freshly prepared to order with a large variety of fish & meats, salads, cheeses, desserts etc. The drinks are very reasonably priced too.
All the staff we came across were incredibly friendly & accommodating & certainly made our stay a very pleasant one indeed. A special mention to Ana at the pool bar who was very patient in trying to break the language barrier between us & also lovely Antonio Luz who looked after us so well at breakfast & worked tirelessly throughout every breakfast session.
The location is fairly remote regards being able to walk to other restaurants so be prepared to eat all of your meals at the hotel unless you have transport or take a taxi. The whole hotel has a very relaxed vibe so is perfect if you’re looking to just chill out in the glorious sunshine. Thank you GMSP! It’s been wonderful!

We have recently stayed at this hotel and we can only have words of gratitude. As soon as you enter the premises you begin to perceive its high level of quality. The facilities are very well maintained and it is a pleasure for the eyes wherever you look. It is clear that it is a luxury establishment and they try to convey it at all times: very comfortable and cozy rooms, very pleasant swimming pool, beautiful and relaxing interior patio (the sound of the fountains and birds is a delight...), high-quality restoration quality (impressive buffet...), continually very well thought out details... and all this on the beachfront. A beach, La Barrosa, which is one of the best we have ever visited. And what can I say about their workers... What nice people, all of them. It's unfair to personalize but I especially want to thank Deborah for her treatment, professionalism and friendliness (still with that smile... and making the coffees just as spectacular), Pepi from Pisos, to whom it seemed like every day we tried to ruin her work routine (thanks for your patience...) and to the personal trainer José (what I have learned with you in a few hours is priceless, thank you so much for your kindness and dedication). And of course, to the rest of the staff who at one time or another gave us the best of their smiles, which was on countless occasions. Without a doubt, we will repeat later. I hope sooner rather than later.

We went to this hotel years ago. In fact, we had already tried this hotel and the Barceló in the same area. This year we opted for Meliá. The hotel is very beautiful, and we had a good memory. The first thing that surprised us is the immense price increase. What rates!! We doubted whether this hotel was worth it and in the end we agreed to go. We found ourselves in a hotel full of children and groups, children running and screaming through the hallways, through the patio, through the restaurants. Very weak restaurants, high price and low quality, the patio restaurant (Don Fernando) with a poor and poorly prepared menu, don't try the potato omelette. We ordered 2 tortillas, one undercooked and the other overcooked, both were undercooked, and sweet, bland. We talked about it and instead of making another ready-made tortilla they brought us the same one put in the oven. A luxury hotel cannot afford such details. Where is the anchovy paper? The letter is "I want to and I can't." What a change of chef. The pool was dirty and the towels were old (some torn). The beach bar with a fair menu, better lunch than dinner. In short, a perfect 4-star hotel... That's at a very luxurious price. We regret not having chosen the Barceló, the same price with better restaurants, privacy and tranquility, without children running through the hallways at 2 in the morning. Did he die of success? What a pity. This hotel has entered the area's overcrowding at prices that we have not seen in Mallorca or Menorca.

A beautiful hotel that does not lack details from entry to exit. A spectacular room with the most comfortable bed I have ever lain in, an interior patio where we were able to enjoy an excellent, very complete breakfast with delicious seasonal fruit. For lunch we changed to the a la carte restaurant where the ham croquettes stood out (my favorites) and the garden area where the tables were located, giving it a very nice touch. Very attentive pool and beach staff. What I want to highlight most is the pleasant walk along a wooden path to the beach where they have respected the typical dunes of Cádiz, which gives it that wild and virgin touch that we like so much about this area and that is lost in surrounding hotels. As a nature lover I was able to enjoy the fauna of the place, even seeing chameleons in the bushes. They also have a skybar where we were amazed by a movie sunset. Special thanks to Alejandro for his attention and to the entire team of this spectacular hotel. Meliá does not leave you indifferent.

This visit is the fifth or sixth time we have stayed at this hotel on a full board basis. Compared to previous years, we have observed an improvement in the dinners in terms of quality, quantity and variety of what is offered (my particular appreciation). We know practically all the hotels in Sancti Petri and for me it is the best. The establishment is a 10, but what stands out above all is the treatment of the staff in general, from the concierge, highlighting the professionalism of Juan, to the beach staff themselves. Perfect à la carte meals at the Entrevientos restaurant, formerly Aqua, correct breakfasts and dinners with the possibility of having both in the beautiful patio that the establishment has, a space that is super special and cozy, in the same way that the space of the restaurant is special. swimming pool and the "chiringuito" located on the beach, all of this creates a perfect atmosphere. We hope, as long as all the circumstances of life allow, to repeat year after year.

Everything was perfect here. Rooms, facilities, restaurants, bars, pool, beach. The service is perfect. The culinary variety is outstanding. We ate a la carte twice. Otherwise always in the buffet restaurant. It was nice that towels were regularly removed if the loungers were unoccupied for more than an hour! We'd love to come back!

This hotel is our first vacation choice every year. In addition to its fabulous facilities, it has a spectacular team of professionals. Since we arrived with the car, they are committed to making our stay unbeatable. The entire reception service, management, waiters, cleaning, lifeguards,... is spectacular. Their breakfasts on the patio are a real luxury and the different restaurants are exquisite. Dining at Duna Beach enjoying the sunset is one of the best moments of the day. It is wonderful to be able to enjoy this unbeatable hotel, Barrosa beach and the beautiful towns that Cádiz has every year. A thousand thanks to the entire hotel team for making our vacation unforgettable every year and we can't wait to return again.

We stayed 9 days at this fantastic hotel and what can I say. It's a 10/10.
When we arrived and checked in with a very nice blonde lady we were afterwards escorted to the room by a gentleman who explained to us everything in the room that we found very accommodating.
The Premium Room a dream with beautiful amenities. Pillow menu, Nespresso coffee machine, bottle of white wine, luxurious bathroom products and turndown service with chocolate in the evening.
The staff was so friendly and accommodating. No matter what we needed we were helped immediately.
We had half board and the food was very delicious and there was something else every day at the buffet-highly recommended. For breakfast there was also sparkling wine and freshly squeezed orange juice
We were several days on the beach and a young lady I noticed particularly positively. Her name was Marta. She always asked us kindly if we needed anything and she can do something for us.
What was very positive to highlight was the valet parking service for our rental car.
All in all, I can only recommend this place. We would come back

We stayed there for 3 weeks, the building was wonderful, in addition to the beds that were very luxurious and the area was very almost perfect. It was a bit expensive, about 200 a night, but it was perfect and the price included breakfast, which was delicious. I will return
