This hotel is very modern, clean, and the welcome is warm. the rooms have been recently renovated and equipped with all necessary sockets, light points, rain shower, mirror, hairdryer. Perfectly in order, no repairs found. The restaurant has good food, you can have something different every day, many options, nice and hot. The swimming pool is closed until a certain hour so that "sunbed reservations" is not possible. There are plenty of sunbeds and the atmosphere is very relaxed. No fighting for some sunbeds... In short, an ideal hotel for a quiet, relaxing holiday. There is little to do in the area, there are only long sandy beaches, but to see more you definitely need a car or use the "very limited" public transport.

The hotel is located in novo Santi Petri, far from the center of Chiclana, to get there you need buses 8 or 11 q pass every half hour from the door of the hypotel barrosa garden. It is a complex of several hotels of the same chain each with its own independent space. The hotel is next to the beach of the barrosa, accessed from a wooden walkway you can go with complicated baby carriages for wheelchairs. Where a hotel bar is located to eat, drink, etc. As in all these complexes it is not allowed to reserve the hammocks of the pool (3 different sizes in this case, plus the deck of the spa) or play with balls or mats in the water, or access with bathing suits to the buffet area of lunch and dinner but neither the people respect it nor the hotel enforces it, so it... The facilities are great both in decoration and cleanliness, friendly staff, my congratulations. We solved the problem of ants in the bathroom we had the first days. Great hip club staff, kids come out very happy. It consists of several buildings plus the reception area, function rooms, including a small theater for performances. All buildings overlook a central courtyard where you will find the terrace for breakfast and dinner and the swimming pools. Rich food with many options, we really liked the pineapple, little variety of ice cream just a day of vanilla. Only shift for meals. Breakfast 8-11 Food 13:30-15 Dinner 19:30-22 Towels for the pool make you leave a sign at reception and then return it on the last day, you can exchange them daily for clean ones next to the pool down some steps. You can park outside the resort without a hitch in July, without having to pay for the hotel’s underground, or at the outdoor resort for free if you’re lucky and there’s a free space. Five minutes away there is a small shopping centre with supermarket and shops.

A hotel that could inspire us all around. The complex is super laid out and consists of 3 houses with max 3 floors. Here it is worth booking a room with partial sea views, the view in the morning and evening is fantastic. The rooms have a murderous bright decor and are very spacious and clean. The pool complex is also super laid out and has 3 pools, as well as a water playground. The water temperature is perfect, not too cold and not too warm. Adjacent to the pool you can walk to the hotel's own beach. Already the way there is great. A small jetty and dunes lead to the fine sandy beach with hotel bar and sunbeds with umbrellas. These have to be paid extra, but this is worth it. The gastronomy is also recommended, very rich and versatile. Daily a changing offer consisting of national and international food. Live cooking is also available. Prices of drinks are affordable. The leisure activities are also varied, of course for a fee, but those who stay in the complex are worthwhile. For children there is entertainment and a kids club. The animation is also not excessive so you don't get annoyed. Those who arrive with a rental car like us have to be prepared for a long search for parking space. The parking situation is really underground, too few parking spaces for the facility, which are occupied by permanent parkers or locals. This was also the some criticism. Otherwise you feel completely comfortable here. The very friendly staff even speaks German and English is not necessary.

Booked sea view and double bed. Got twin beds and partial sea view. Entertainment terrible. This is a no smoking hotel - if you smoke you are consigned to a little area at the back . Not even allowed to smoke outside apart from in this area. Staff great though.

The hotel facilities are phenomenal, everything is very clean and the staff is very pleasant. The only thing to improve in the rooms are the beds, a little soft and they make a sound when you move, at least in ours (2243). The only thing that we have had badly has been the dinner hours, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., designed for foreigners who eat a full breakfast, get fruit from the buffet and at 6:30 p.m. they are already hungry. In our case, if you have breakfast and go out Eat at the restaurants in the area, when dinner time arrives you are not hungry at all, if we had known we would not hire half board. Besides, at dinners they don't offer free water at the entrance, you have to ask for it, we were paying €2.50 for a medium bottle the first few days, come on, a dinner for four for €5 a liter of water, crazy. Normal quality, I was very surprised that the iron did not use olive oil, especially being an Andalusian hotel. The mini club for children is great but also with schedules designed for foreigners, at 6:00 p.m. the activities for them end. Otherwise a renovated hotel on the beachfront with its own beach bar (Calma Beach).

A truely lovely hotel! The beds are large and soft, and most importantly the rooms are silent. The food is amazing, both for lunch and dinner (especially the churros - best in Spain!). The service was top notch: friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We had an amazing time.

The pool area is far too small for the amount of guests. Every cm is filled with loungers. We wanted a quiet room. Requested by email in advance. We got a room directly above the main restaurant, in the morning and evening you could clean significantly higher. but with a large terrace. Unfortunately, right in front of it is a ventilation system. which buzzed strongly especially in the evening and night.

They gave us a room that overlooked the terrace tables and at night there was a lot of noise.
The bar has lost quality and raised prices.
Parking has also gone up.
You cannot reserve the beach loungers for the whole week or before payment, you have to go every day to reserve them first thing

We felt very comfortable in the Barrosa Park. The rooms are spacious and functionally furnished. The bathroom is quite large and the shower is spacious and at ground level. The toilet area is separated by a sliding door. Overall, the bathroom is modern and very tastefully designed. The bright and equally modern bedroom and living areas have large flat screens, a refrigerator and a safe in the cupboards. The hotel's outdoor area is spacious, with attractive gardening of the beds and paths. The swimming pool area has 2 outdoor pools for children/non-swimmers and a pool with areas and deeper areas. Diving is not permitted there, which is for safety reasons. Overall, there are enough loungers around the swimming pool for sunbathing and relaxing under just as many parasols, which can remain open even in strong winds.

The hotel has been quite a discovery. I started the Reservation Search at hotels in the area very late, there was hardly any availability and this was the last room available for the required dates. So let's see what we found. To summarize: New and very spacious rooms with multiple storage spaces in all closets. Good cleanliness of facilities. Very friendly and pending staff at all times of any need. We value very positively the labor inclusion in the restaurant service where the food is of great variety and quality. During the stay we quickly resolved a couple of incidents we had in the room. And to say something like aspects of improvement: That perhaps they could incorporate more activities for those slightly complicated ages of children between 11-13 years who are no longer for the slides or for the mini club of the hotel although the hotel has two pool tables and a table football that are very helpful. Another aspect to improve would be the Internet coverage and speed at least in the area where we were staying. Overall rating: I will repeat without a doubt.
