I Loved every minute of our stay, new hotel, nothing to dislike, close to the beach, owner very helpful. I would loved to come back there one day ;) Small boutique hotel next to playa Barossa, wonderful sunsets. We had a room with a terrace and sea view which was very nice , very comfortable beds.

Arrived to find only the cleaner in reception thankfully I have a bit of Spanish because she didn’t speak any English so we gave her our details a friend had booked for us and she asked for our Spanish NIE numbers which we have and our passports but then the photocopier didn’t work I was handed the mobile to talk to the receptionist but she never turned up and the call cut out We were given our key and shown to the room which was a family one so very spacious with a double bed and a sofa bed plus a sofa and coffee table we also had a fridge and a bathroom with a drip down handle by the toilet as husband is in a wheelchair The room was clean and spacious so okay for the wheelchair However the shower although on the flat wasn’t wheelchair accessible no grab rails and a slippery tile floor and no rubber mat shower stool was a tiny plastic garden stool totally unsuitable but this is Spain and afraid disabled has a different meaning from the U.K. and what we would find acceptable No drink making facilities of course however the most bizarre thing was at sometime the cleaner went home and we were left alone in the hotel We had a couple of friends come over for a drink and after they left at 8 pm they closed the front door and we were clearly on our own the restaurant was all shut up so no breakfast available and the restaurant down the road was closed as well as was the mini market this is out of season We locked our room door and the patio door and headed for our bed but I was not that happy to be by myself with a very disabled husband as there would have been no one to call if we had had a problem It was a very strange experience In the morning we got up and were packing the car when a man appeared think he was unloading a van so I handed him my keys and said goodbye and off we went As the only guests we parked okay there are 4 spaces inside the hotel gate one of which is disabled and we have a blue badge It’s was a very strange experience and one I would not choose to repeat For Spain it’s okay for disabled guests but the shower was totally useless

Firstly, the tower block hotel in the main photo is definitely not the Hotel Novomar in La Barrosa. I have added some of my own photos instead.
I liked the hotel because it was small and friendly, beautifully decorated, with a nice cafe/bar and a small pool. However there were no sunbeds or sunshades round the pool, so unless you've booked one of the three rooms that have direct access to it, you have to sit on the artificial grass.
I was a little disappointed with our "Queen Room with Sea View". It didn't really meet the description. You could just about see the sea between the buildings (see photo) and the bed was much smaller than I was expecting (described as "<2 metres", but it was actually 1.35m). The room was so small I can't imagine what a standard room is like. There is no shelf in the bathroom so nowhere to put your spectacles etc while you have a shower or wash your face. Little things like this are important!

We stayed at this hotel August 2018. The hotel is very modern and immaculate. It has 11 rooms on two floors. Its a couple of minutes walk away from the lovely long, wide beach which is very busy until 9pm. There are 5 parking spaces at the hotel with a charge of 8 euros a day. There are 3 hotel parking spaces free of charge on the side road of the hotel and lots of free parking on the main road. The main road can be rather busy in the evening, but finding a space in the day is fine. There are several restaurant/bars nearby and a further cluster of restaurants/bars 10/15 minutes walk away along the main road. You will have to ask for a menu in English when visiting the restaurants in this area. We booked a room with a terrace and we were hoping for a room opposite the pool, but we had a room around the back of the hotel, which we were happy with due to the rooms opposite the pool loosing the sun at 5pm and also a glass partition has been put up around the pool between the 3 terrace rooms opposite the pool. The restaurant staff are very friendly and serve a lovely paella. Prices are reasonable. The only fault with this hotel is the rooms are rather small. There is plenty of drawer storage space in the room, but you do have to put your cases under the bed, its the only option. Santi Petri is a nice modern, clean town which is very popular with Spanish holiday makers. I would definitely return to this area in the future

Nice modern hotel close to the beach and all amenities and was ideal for our stopover, rooms were modern and comfortable but on the small side, bathroom had a walk in shower. Ideal for a short holiday but for a large family far to small. Wants. tea/coffee maker as the hotel bar does not open till 9am.better WIFI in the rooms. inexpensive and just perfect for our trip.

Hidden gem in the perfect location. Small hotel with everything close to hand. Loved it. The room overlooking the pool was ideal for my grandchildren. The beach is 50m walk from the hotel. Lots of nearby restaurants and the hotel aslo made, good food. We will be back very soon.

Great little hotel with fantastic accommodating staff. Rooms are small but very new and just what you need when you have such a beautiful beach two minutes away by foot. Breakfast was pretty simple, but fine. Defo early recommend a stay here!
