We are repeat clients of Turtle Beach Resort and cannot recommend the resort more highly. The facilities are wonderful the staff friendly and efficient. The apartments are equipped with everything you need for your stay and are clean and spacious. The Deck restaurant was great value and the drinks were spot on every time. We were incredibly disappointed that we had to cut our stay short and head home due to lockdown and Covid. Reception staff were brilliant with our early departure and we are set with planning our trip for next year. Thank you so much 😊
This place is iconic. They have always been above expectations. If we have posted issues it was due bout own fault. They really care about their guests.! We love this pace and it breaks our hearts to lose it.th 😘We love turtle beach resort I love you all
Turtle beach has everything a family could want and more. You could stay here and not need to leave as the facilities are amazing for entertaining the children. The pools are lovely, splash zone is great, convenience store at the front is well stocked and there are plenty of options for take away and restaurants across the road. The room was amazing, spacious, clean and well stocked with the necessities. We had some things not working in the room, some lights had blown and the phone wasn’t working but as soon as these were reported they were fixed immediately. Meals from The Deck were beautiful and reasonably priced.
Worst accommodation I've ever stayed at. Apartment filled with cockroaches and bed bugs, parties until all hours, 'family friendly' but broken glass coffee tables and not pram accessible - and even worse management (leaves front reception to respond to angry visitors and won't return calls). Stay far far away
As a small family, holidays can sometimes be tricky as it can be hard to find other kids to play with. The KidsClub was a big appeal for us. Turtle Beach was perfect for us. Very family oriented, on-site pools and slides were all operational, having all been recently renovating and the grounds are very well cared for considering how busy the resort is during school holidays. KidsClub ran beautifully, loved being able to book online for the sessions. The staff were amazing and the kids made friends easily in the pools, splash park and kids club. Location is spot on, the gluten free cafe next door was great for our food intolerances. Short walk (less than 10 minutes) across to Mermaid Beach patrolled area. The apartments are self-serviced, so you do need to take your own beach towels and purchase additional bits and pieces other than the starter pack. If you read the Compendium on the website before you go, you’ll know all the ins and outs. We had one of the older rooms near the adults pool on the quieter side of the resort which worked great for us. The room was 90’s style but functional. The beds are due for an upgrade in that room but it depends which room you get, as we learned talking to other families during the week. We ate at the Deck while watching kid on the splash park - such a good set up. We used the gym, it’s small but managed a pretty good little holiday work out so happy with that. Putt putt course is hard but a great little diversion for a bit. Like many resorts and apartments on the Gold Coast, it has been around for years and the design isn’t super modern, but it does exactly what it says it will do. We loved it, and will have great memories of a relaxing week.…
