Reception and employees worked hard and were helpful at all times . We were disappointed to discover that the pool was unavailable . The hotel had a bare, Spartan feel about it ! We have stayed at another hotel in Palm beach which catered for families much better in that they had a large pool for everyone.

We stayed here for 3 nights from Tues to Fri. We had a room on the 5th floor (508 I think). This one bedroom apartment was very clean and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The only 'disappointing ' things were that the blinds in the bedroom were not block-out and had a gap in the middle, so...

Stayed 5 nights. Apartment was clean and tidy. Pool was under construction. Notice regarding this was on the website, at end of first page, not highlighted very well. We were given a room on the northern side of the complex next to a construction site of a 7 level building. We were not told about this when booking. Prior warning...

Stayed at this hotel at least 4-5/year for the past 5 years. Loved this hotel, only lately customer service has been very poor, with Debra all was excellent & friendly and hospitable. Each time called for enquiry/booking/pay/etc, promised to send confirmation letter after payment, to call, etc, but never done, no news, we were the one who had to call...

Booked ocean view room but was on northern side of complex next to construction site with better view of road than of the ocean, this was disappointing. Whole site is in holding mode due to construction next door. Property feels like an apartment block more than tourist accommodation. There was a very strong smell of bleach in apartment on arrival...

A very disappointing stay due to the following: - booked and paid for a room with sea view instead got one facing the new build next door and the managements failed to inform me the new build and the conditions (expect for the pool). Did not offer alternative accommodation - could not use the balcony due to noise and dust...

Biggest gripe was paying an extra $10 a night for a view of a huge construction site and their own pool surrounded by construction fences for maintenance. Otherwise, the suburb was perfect the apartment couldn't be faulted. The beach was at the door and was voted Aus's cleanest in 2010 & it couldn't be better now. Burliegh Heads was a...

I was travelling with my uncle and between us we have stayed 3 times in this apartment block. It is in need of an upgrade. The apartment had dirty curtains, cockroaches and looking tired. The building next door is being built and the workman started at 7am banging and crashing. Not Regency fault but for the price it was disappointing.
